Instructions for use of insecticide 30 Plus, composition, and operating principle

"30 Plus" is one of the most effective broad-spectrum insecticides used for treating garden and ornamental plants. It effectively kills adult parasites, their larvae, and eggs. This product is considered environmentally safe and is made from vaseline oil. It can be used in private farms and on large agricultural enterprises.

Composition and release form

"30 Plus" contains 760 grams of Vaseline oil. It is produced as a mineral oil emulsion and is sold in 0.25, 0.5, and 1.5 liter bottles. Based on its penetration method, it is classified as a contact pesticide. In terms of its pest control, it is classified as an acaricide, insecticide, or ovicide.

Mechanism of operation

The Vaseline oil in the product, when spread over the crop surface, enters the pest's spiracles, causing them to become clogged. This results in the formation of resistant membranes that disrupt metabolic processes in the pest's eggs or body and prevent proper gas exchange. Consequently, the insect dies from suffocation.

The protective period is approximately two weeks. However, depending on the crop being treated, it can last up to 10-20 days.

What is it used for?

"30 Plus" is a broad-spectrum product. It is classified as an insecticide, ovicide, and acaricide. The pesticide is designed to protect fruit crops such as apple and pear trees. It can also be used on berry bushes, citrus fruits, ornamental plants, and conifers. It helps control the following pests:

  • scale insects;
  • moths;
  • false scale insects;
  • mealybugs;
  • butterflies;
  • copperheads.

This product has a pronounced ovicidal effect. It eliminates overwintering insect eggs and various types of mites, including felt mites, spider mites, and kidney mites. In addition to its insecticidal and ovicidal properties, it also acts as an adjuvant, or adhesive, making treatments significantly more effective.

Terms of Use

To ensure the composition produces the desired effect, the treatment must be carried out in stages:

  1. The first spraying is done in the spring, before the buds open. It's important to ensure the air temperature remains at least 4°C (39°F) both day and night. The solution can be mixed with copper sulfate or Bordeaux mixture. This will help combat various diseases, such as scab, rust, and late blight.
  2. The second treatment is carried out in the summer. It is necessary for attacks by adult parasites. To enhance the effectiveness of the product, add 50% of the recommended dose of Fitoverm and 50% of the recommended dose of Bitoxibacillin to the prepared solution.

It's recommended to treat the crown and leaves from the underside, ensuring even wetting of the green areas. This is where the largest number of larvae accumulate.

To ensure the product achieves the desired effect, it's important to prepare the working solution correctly and follow the instructions for its use. To do this, consider the following:

  1. Dilute the required amount of concentrate in a small volume of water.
  2. Mix the mother liquor with 10 liters of water and stir well.
  3. Pour the liquid through a sieve into the sprayer tank.
  4. Treat the plants, evenly wetting the trunk and branches.
  5. Spray in the morning or evening. This should be done in dry, windless weather.

It's important to use the working solution on the day of preparation. Otherwise, it will lose its properties. The dosages for this composition are listed in the table:

Usage norm Plant Pests Working fluid consumption, liters per 1 hectare
40-100 Apple, cherry, plum, pear Scale insects, mites, aphids, moths, mealybugs 1000-1500

Do not prepare the emulsion in food-grade containers. Protective clothing is required when spraying crops. Rubber gloves and a respirator are also recommended. Eating, drinking, and smoking are prohibited while working. Rinse your mouth with clean water afterward.

Compatibility

"30 Plus" can be combined with other insecticidal acaricidal agents. This significantly increases its ovicidal effect against many parasites. The mixtures help kill both mobile pests and eggs.

The product also combines well with fungicides. Such mixtures are more effective. The oil film of these products allows them to remain on plant leaves and bark for a long time.

For vineyard treatment, this product can be combined with acaricides. It effectively combats acarinosis and felt mites. When mixed with fungicides, it effectively eliminates anthracnose and black spot. For these purposes, the product is applied when the leaves have 2-3 leaves. This product can be combined with any fungicide except sulfur.

How and how long to store

The substance has a shelf life of 2 years. It should be stored in a sealed, original container. Opened packaging has a significantly shorter shelf life. The substance should be stored at temperatures between -25 and +25 degrees Celsius. It should be kept in a dark, dry, and well-ventilated area.

Analogues

There are no effective analogues for the active ingredient. Various insecticides containing vaseline oil can be used for home use. One of the most effective formulations is considered to be "Profilaktin." Other options include "Profilaktin Bio" and "Profilaktin Light." They are produced as an aqueous emulsion.

"30 Plus" is an effective insecticide that effectively controls a wide variety of pests. To ensure the desired effect, it's important to use it correctly.
