Nutrivant fertilizers are supplementary fertilizers for various crops. They are suitable for use on fruit and ornamental plants in greenhouses and open soil. These substances are unique in that they adhere securely to leaf blades and provide long-lasting effects. They contain many microelements essential for the normal growth and development of crops.
Active ingredient, dosage form and mechanism of action
This product is produced by an Israeli company. It is an effective foliar fertilizer. Its production is based on the unique Fertivant technology, developed by Israeli and American researchers.
This allows the active ingredients to linger on the foliage for up to 28 days and gradually penetrate the plant structure, becoming evenly distributed. The liquid envelops the leaves and enters through the pores and intercellular spaces. The chemicals do not destroy green parts of the shoots, do not cause burns or necrosis, and are characterized by gradual breakdown.
The composition of the product may vary, depending on its intended use. A universal product contains phosphorus, potassium, and nitrogen in equal proportions—19% each. Additional components include magnesium, zinc, and copper. The product also contains manganese, iron, and molybdenum. Some types of substances also contain boron and sulfur.
Varieties
The Nutrivant and Nutrivant Plus products differ in composition and purpose. The most common products in this series include the following types of fertilizers:
- "Universal" – suitable for foliar application to a variety of crops. It can be used during the active growth stage and before flowering.
- "Potato" – suitable for foliar feeding of potatoes. This formula is also used in fertigation systems.
- "Pumpkin" – used for foliar feeding of members of the Cucurbitaceae family. This formula can be used for crops grown in greenhouses or open ground.
- "Tomato" – used for foliar application to plants in the Solanaceae family. It can be used on peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes.
- "Fruit" – improves the development of fruit trees and berry bushes.
- "Grape" - suitable for foliar feeding of grape bushes.
- Unicrop is a relatively new product used before harvesting. It helps improve the commercial quality of fruits.
- "Drip" is an alternative to the universal composition. It is recommended for use in drip irrigation systems.
This is far from a complete list of possible products. Our line of nutritional products includes a wide range of effective fertilizers designed for corn, rice, barley, and other crops.
What plants does it affect?
This fertilizer can be used on a wide variety of plants. The Nutrivant line is most commonly used for potatoes, tomatoes, cereals, and grapes. It can also be used for raspberry plants, beets, corn, fruit trees, and shrubs.

Calculation of consumption and rules of application
Before using the product, make a water solution and add it to a spray bottle. Dosages vary depending on the type of product. The most commonly used fertilizers are:
- "Universal." The product is applied during critical periods of plant development. Apply 2-3 kilograms per hectare. After preparing the working solution, apply 200-250 liters per hectare.
- "Grain." The product is applied at the seedling stage, during tillering, and at the boot stage. Two kilograms of concentrate should be used per hectare. In spring, a 5-10% urea solution is added to the mixture. In summer, no more than 3.5% of this substance should be used.
- "Corn." Apply the product at the 3-5 and 6-8 leaf stages. For the first treatment, use 2 kilograms of the product per hectare, and for the second, 3 kilograms. It is recommended to dilute the concentrated product with 200-250 liters of water.
- "Sugar Beet." The product is applied three times during the season: at the 4-6 leaf stage, at the 8th leaf stage, and when 50% of the rows have closed. The recommended application rate is 2 kilograms per hectare.
- "Potato." The product is applied three times: at the sprouting stage, during bud formation, and during flowering. It is chlorine-free, which improves the quality of the fruit. Its use helps produce potato tubers with a high starch content.
- "Grapes." This product accelerates vine development, reduces berry ripening time, and increases their sugar content. It is recommended to apply the fertilizer when shoots reach 15-20 centimeters. Use 2 kilograms of the product per hectare of planting. At the initial stage of berry formation, 3 kilograms of the product is required. Repeat the treatment after 2-3 weeks, using the same amount of the product.
Precautionary measures
To ensure safe use of fertilizers, certain rules must be followed. When working with fertilizers, be sure to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as goggles, a respirator, and gloves.
