What is included in the composition and dosage form
"Chistotsvet" is produced as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), contains 250 grams of difeconazole per liter, and belongs to the triazole class of chemicals. It is a broad-spectrum systemic and contact fungicide that supports and strengthens plant immunity.
When used correctly, the product does not accumulate in soil or plant debris and is non-phytotoxic. However, its effect on only one enzyme of the pathogen can lead to resistance development if used excessively and uncontrolled.
The product's effectiveness depends on the ambient temperature. It drops sharply when the temperature drops below 12 degrees Celsius. Also, using the pesticide against rapidly developing diseases, such as rust, is inadvisable—it won't have the desired effect.
"Chistotsvet" is available in 10-milliliter bottles and 1- and 2-milliliter ampoules. These small packages are ideal for treating individual diseased plants and indoor flowers. Standard sprayers and small hand-held sprayers can be used for treatment.
Method of operation and what it is used for
This product is used to treat diseases of roses and other ornamental plants, and can be used on houseplants, ornamental foliage, and flowering shrubs. It has pronounced therapeutic and long-lasting preventative properties. It is used against powdery mildew, gray mold, and leaf spot.
"Chistotsvet" is a systemic preparation that penetrates and travels throughout the plant's vascular system. This allows it to act not only therapeutically but also prophylactically.
Within two hours of treatment, "Chistotsvet" spreads throughout the plant and begins to inhibit the subcuticular mycelium. This prevents active sporulation and the spread of the disease, allowing the affected plants to recover and preventing the spread of the disease. It's important to note that the product spreads only acropetally, that is, from the bottom up, so maximum care must be taken during treatment.
Indoors, on balconies and terraces, only diseased flowers can be treated, or general spraying can be used if there is a serious risk of widespread damage to plants. It is important to follow the rules, instructions, and safety precautions, and to shower and ventilate the rooms afterward. No bystanders, children, or pets should be present in the room during spraying.
The prepared working solution should not be prepared in advance. It is diluted immediately before use and used within 24 hours.
Calculation of consumption
When using the fungicide "Chistotsvet", the following treatment scheme and calculation of the drug consumption is used:

They indicate that "Chistotsvet" begins to work 120 minutes after application, is not washed off by precipitation, and maintains its protective properties for 14 days.
At the first signs of powdery mildew, dilute 2 milliliters of "Chistotsvet" in 5 liters of clean water. This solution is ideal for roses and houseplants; apply twice, two weeks apart. If ornamental plants are affected by rot and spotting, increase the solution concentration to 4 milliliters per 5 liters of water, and increase the frequency of spraying to four times, also two weeks apart.
Garden ornamental and flowering plants are treated against powdery mildew with a solution of 2 milliliters of "Chistotsvet" per 10 liters of water, and against rot and spotting with 4 milliliters per the same amount of liquid. The frequency and time intervals for treatment are the same as for roses and houseplants.
It is not recommended to apply fertilizer to sick or weakened plants until they have fully recovered.
Safety precautions
The fungicide "Chistotsvet" is classified as hazard class 3 for humans and bees. Applications should be carried out in calm weather, in the morning or evening, when pollinating insects are not flying. If spraying indoor or greenhouse plants, the area must be well ventilated.
The use of pesticides requires compliance with safety regulations:
- Wearing a mask or respirator.
- Eye protection with glasses.
- Use of gloves, buried clothing and headgear.
- You are not allowed to eat, drink, smoke or talk while working.
- After spraying, you need to wash your face and hands with soap.
If the product comes into contact with skin or eyes, it should be quickly washed off with clean running water.
What to do in case of poisoning
If someone accidentally swallows the fungicide "Chistotsvet," drink several glasses of water and induce profuse vomiting. Then take activated charcoal based on the victim's body weight. If any suspicious symptoms appear or the condition worsens, consult a doctor.
Possible compatibility
It is not recommended to mix the pesticide "Chistotsvet" with other fungicides or insecticides. However, for best results, it is permissible to alternate "Chistotsvet" with other pesticides, observing the necessary intervals.
How and how long can it be stored?
The product's shelf life is 24 months. Store in a tightly sealed, labeled container, preferably in its original packaging. Store Chistotsvet in a cool, dry, and dark place, away from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations. The optimal temperature is no higher than 25 degrees Celsius.
Keep the fungicide out of reach of children and pets. Keep away from beverages, food, medications, animal feed, bird feed, and fish feed.
What to replace it with
If you don't have "Chistotsvet" and need to protect plants from diseases, you can use preparations that work on substances from the triazole class.
