Malathion-based products are one of the most effective options for controlling bed bugs, which are relatively resistant to other insecticides.
Mechanism of action
The product is an organophosphorus compound. Its active ingredient renders pests immobile within 1.5-2 hours of application. After spraying, the insects die within 24 hours.
However, it should be noted that regular use of the product promotes the development of insect and pest populations resistant to malathion. Insects develop the physiological ability to break down the active ingredient into products that are non-toxic to the body.
Directions for use and dosage
To ensure effective insect control, it is important to follow the product's instructions for use and application rates.
Fruit trees
For gardening, use Fufanon Nova, a water-based emulsion. This insecticide is a contact and stomach insecticide. It is designed to protect trees and shrubs in the garden. Directions for use:
- Cherry, sweet cherry, plum trees are treated against pests (leaf beetle, scale insect, silkworm, cherry fly, codling moth, aphid, weevil, moth, leaf beetle) with a solution of 11.0 ml/10 liters of water;
- To spray apple and pear trees against insects (leaf rollers, codling moths, apple blossom beetles, mites, leafhoppers, sawflies, weevils), dilute 13 ml of the product in 10 liters of water.
Depending on the age, variety, and degree of insect infestation, 2 to 5 liters of working solution are allocated for treating each tree.
From bedbugs
Fufanon Super is used to effectively kill bedbugs. At home, it also helps solve problems with infestations of red house ants, mosquitoes, flies, fleas, and cockroaches.
To obtain a working solution, dilute the product with water according to the instructions. Pay particular attention to walls near baseboards, the undersides of furniture, and cracks in floors.
Use against aphids
This product can solve aphid problems not only in the garden but also in vegetable beds. When using the solution, consider the type of plant:
- to spray cabbage, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, use a solution with a concentration of 10 ml/10 liters of water;
- to treat melons (watermelons, melons), dilute 5 ml of the preparation in 5 liters of water;
- To protect flower crops, use a solution with a concentration of 10 ml/10 l of water.
From cockroaches
Fufanon Super insecticide is available as an aqueous emulsion. To prepare a working solution, dilute 10 ml of the product in a liter of water. It is recommended to spray areas where insects congregate (cracks in baseboards, corners of furniture, peeling wallpaper, and doorways). It is advisable to move furniture away from walls.
The product is also often used to care for indoor plants. To prepare a working solution, dilute 1 ml of the product in a liter of water. To protect flowers from spider mites, spray the plants thoroughly. Open the windows every 1-1.5 hours for ventilation.
Processing berry bushes
When preparing a spray solution for plants, follow the manufacturer's recommendations. This product protects currant and gooseberry bushes from moths, scale insects, leaf rollers, aphids, moths, sawflies, and scale insects.
To obtain a working solution, dilute 13 ml of Fufanon Nova insecticide in 10 liters of water. Use 1.0-1.5 liters of solution for each bush. Spraying is carried out during the growing season.
Precautionary measures
This product is classified as hazard class 3 for beneficial insects and humans. When using it, follow these guidelines:
- When spraying vegetation, wear personal protective equipment (respirator, rubber gloves, safety glasses, special clothing);
- It is prohibited to drink, smoke, or eat while objects are being processed;
- Do not remove protective equipment while working.
Spraying of vegetation is done in dry, windless weather (morning or evening). Treatment of premises is carried out in the absence of children, animals, and people.
Is compatibility possible?
Since the product exhibits resistance, it is recommended to use it in combination with other insecticides. Popular tank mixes include Epin Extra, Kurzat, Poliram, and Zircon.
How to store
Store the insecticide in a dry, ventilated area, out of reach of children and pets. Do not store animal feed, drinking water, or food in the room.
The pesticide has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture. It is not recommended to store unused working solution (it must be disposed of properly).

- The drug "Tsipromal" effectively destroys mosquitoes, rat ticks, cockroaches, flies and fleas in industrial and domestic premises.
