Thanks to pesticides that combine herbicide and desiccant properties, crop care is significantly simplified. Using Tornado 500, you can easily clear non-agricultural areas of weeds or accelerate the maturation of cultivated plants. To ensure effectiveness, it is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
What is included in the composition and existing forms of release
Tornado 500 is a non-selective herbicide available as an aqueous solution. It is packaged in 10-liter canisters. The active ingredient is glyphosate (500 g/l), which is used to kill virtually all types of weeds, trees, and shrubs.
Purpose
Spraying the herbicide's working solution eliminates annual and perennial broadleaf and grass weeds. It is recommended for use on fields before sowing spring crops, non-agricultural land, and railroad and road rights-of-way.
Tornado 500 can also be used as a desiccant. In this case, the working solution is sprayed on sunflowers, grain crops, soybeans, and peas.
Mechanism of action
The working solution penetrates the plant system through the leaves and stems and spreads throughout all parts (root system and aboveground parts). The active ingredient, by blocking the production of certain amino acids, affects the growth points, which contributes to the death of plant parts.
Visible symptoms of damage: yellowing/browning of leaves, drying of stems, death of roots.
On annual plants, signs appear after 3-5 days, perennial weeds begin to dry out after 7-10 days.

Instructions for use
When preparing the working solution, it is important to adhere to the consumption rates of the preparation recommended by the manufacturer.
| Processing object | Type of weeds | Consumption rate, l/ha | Features of application |
| Fields before sowing grain | annual cereals, dicotyledons | 1.5-3.5 | after harvesting, by aerial treatment |
| Non-agricultural land | perennial and annual, dicotyledonous cereals | 2.1-4.3 | during the growing season of weeds, by ground or aerial methods |
| Right-of-way (roads, embankments near railways) | perennial and annual, dicotyledonous cereals | 4.4-5.7 | during active growth of weeds |
Desiccation is used on pea, sunflower, and grain crops. Spraying is done 2.5-2 weeks before harvest.
If hot weather sets in, spraying is done in the morning or evening.

Safety precautions
"Tornado 500" is classified as a Class 3 hazard for humans and bees. When preparing the working solution and spraying it, observe the following safety rules:
- During work, wear personal protective equipment (rubber gloves, boots, mask, respirator, special clothing);
- It is prohibited to remove personal protective equipment during work, eat, drink and smoke;
- The treatment is carried out during dry, windless weather.
If the product comes into contact with mucous membranes or exposed areas of skin, immediately wash the affected areas with clean water.

Is compatibility possible?
Tornado 500 can be used for tank mixing, as it is compatible with a variety of pesticides. The exception is highly alkaline pesticides.
Storage rules
Manufacturers guarantee a five-year shelf life from the date of manufacture, provided storage conditions are met. It is recommended to store pesticides in a designated, dry, ventilated area, separate from food and animal feed.

Substitute products
Various preparations can be used to destroy weeds and desiccate cultivated plants.
- "Bestseller" is available as water-dispersible granules. It is convenient for use in no-till or minimum-till farms.
- The popular drug "Roundup" exhibits high activity against most weeds, causing the death of both green mass and the root system.
- Glyphosance quickly decomposes in soil and plants, actively clearing fields of weeds. The product has no crop rotation restrictions.
The high concentration of the active ingredient ensures increased effectiveness of the Tornado 500 pesticide. Other advantages include its safety in crop rotation and economical use.
