The protective effect lasts up to 15 days. However, for locusts, this period does not exceed one week. Generally, the specific period depends on the species and number of parasites. This insecticide is characterized by a rapid action. The effect occurs within an hour of application.
Terms of Use
To achieve the desired result, it is recommended to adhere to the following rules:
- Prepare the working solution immediately before use. Use a small amount of water first, then add liquid to reach the required volume.
- Do not store the solution for more than 24 hours.
- Carry out treatment in not too hot, dry and windless weather.
- Perform the procedure in the morning or evening.
- Distribute the solution evenly over the entire plant.
By the time the product is applied, the insects may have laid eggs, which the product won't control. Therefore, plants often need to be treated again. The final spraying should be done no later than 20-30 days before harvest. For melons, this period is reduced to a week.
When using the product, it is important to focus on the type of crop being treated:
- Trees. To control codling moths and leaf rollers on fruit crops, mix 1 gram of granules with 10 liters of water. This amount is enough to spray 3-6 medium-sized trees. If necessary, repeat the procedure after a couple of weeks.
- Pine seedbeds. Conifers often face pest attacks. They can be damaged by cockchafers, weevils, and leaf rollers. Pollination is usually required from airplanes. Apply 0.04-0.08 liters of spray per hectare.
- Vegetable crops. Decis Profi is used to treat cabbage and potatoes. Mix 1 gram of the product with 15 liters of water. This amount is enough to treat 300 square meters of land. For tomatoes, use 1 gram of the product per 10 liters of water. This amount is enough for 250 square meters of land.
- Flowers. For spraying indoor flowers, use 0.1 grams of Decis per liter of water. These plants are best treated on the balcony or outdoors.
Safety precautions
When using Decis, standard protective measures should be used: protective clothing, goggles, a mask, and gloves. After completing work, take a shower and change clothes. The protective suit should be washed. Work should only be carried out in dry, windless weather. This should be done in the morning or evening.
Compatibility
