"Nurel" is a unique product that helps combat pest infestations on a wide variety of plants. This substance is highly effective and provides long-lasting protection. Furthermore, the product is resistant to washout during precipitation and is relatively safe for humans. Another advantage is that the pests do not develop tolerance to it.
What is it used for and what is the dosage form?
Nurel is a two-component formulation. One liter of the product contains 500 grams of chlorpyrifos and 50 grams of cypermethrin. This balanced composition helps achieve a comprehensive pest control effect—systemic, intestinal, contact, and fumigant.
The product is produced as an emulsion concentrate that dissolves easily in water. It is available in various sizes, allowing you to purchase a quantity sufficient for a single treatment. The smallest ampoules contain 7 milliliters of emulsion. However, the most popular are the 5-liter canisters.
Mechanism of action
The product's mechanism of action is based on its two active ingredients: clopyrifos and cypermethrin. These ingredients paralyze pests and their larvae or cause their immediate death. They directly affect the insects' nervous system. Because the insecticide spreads evenly, it can reach all areas where pests may be hiding.
Insect eggs have a protective shell that prevents various substances from penetrating them. However, insecticides effectively solve this problem. They can simply corrode the shell. If a pest enters the treated area and begins feeding on the fruits and leaves of plants, it will die immediately. This is the barrier effect, which lasts for two weeks.
"Nurel" is not washed off with water. It penetrates deep into plant structures without harming foliage or fruit. At temperatures above 20°C, the product begins to exert its fumigant effect. Furthermore, penetration into all tissues is significantly enhanced.
The product takes effect within 2 hours of application. If you follow all application instructions, you'll achieve excellent results. All plants will be reliably protected, and harmful insects and their larvae will be killed.

Pros and cons of the product
The drug has its pros and cons. Its main advantages include the following:
- the effectiveness of the substance against different categories of parasites;
- almost instant action of active ingredients;
- long-lasting protective effect;
- resistance to precipitation;
- compatibility of the drug with other products and supplements;
- impact on hard-to-reach areas of crops.
However, the substance also has a number of disadvantages. The main drawbacks include:
- the need for uniform spraying of crops;
- impossibility of using the substance during the flowering period;
- high toxicity level – the product is prohibited for use without personal protective equipment.
How to prepare and instructions for use
The aqueous solution should be prepared in stages. The following is recommended:
- Dilute the required volume of concentrate in 1 liter of water. It is recommended to mix the substances thoroughly to ensure no sediment remains.
- Add the required amount of clean water to the container.

The amount of solution and its concentration are always indicated in the instructions for use. To obtain 10 liters of working solution, use the following volume of the product:
- 10 milliliters of concentrate are required to treat vineyards and fruit trees;
- for berry bushes it is recommended to take 8 milliliters of the product;
- For vegetables, 12 milliliters of the preparation is required.
When the working solution enters the pests' bodies, they die instantly. In terms of systemic effects, plants absorb the solution within minutes. Within 24 hours, the substance completely permeates the plant tissue. The pests then begin to die under its influence.
Complete eradication of insects is achieved within two days of treatment. Systemic control of the pests continues for two weeks after spraying. Fruit trees, grapes, and berry bushes can be treated even during budding. This method is considered an effective preventative measure. Subsequently, such crops can be sprayed at any time.
It is recommended to treat garden plants as soon as pests appear. Afterwards, agricultural work in these areas should be suspended for 10 days.
Safety precautions
The insecticide is classified as hazard class 3. Therefore, it poses a moderate risk to humans. This is true only if safety precautions are followed. However, the product is highly dangerous to bees and aquatic life. Therefore, it is recommended to use it away from bodies of water and apiaries.
When working with the substance, personal protective equipment should be used. This includes wearing a mask, gloves, and a gown. If you plan to treat large areas, consider using a special protective suit.

What can it be combined with?
The product can be combined with fungicides and growth stimulants. It can also be mixed with other insecticides. In most cases, Nurel is combined with products such as Zircon, Ribav-Extra, and Epin. However, combinations with alkaline and copper-containing substances are not permitted.
To ensure compatibility, it is recommended to mix 50 milliliters of each aqueous solution and wait 30 minutes. If there are no signs of a chemical reaction, the mixture can be used.
How and how long to store
It is recommended to store the product in a cool, dry place at temperatures ranging from -15 to +30 degrees Celsius. Keep away from food and medications. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
