Mechanism of action
The substance's high effectiveness is due to the combination of several active ingredients, each with different effects on pathogens. The product's action is as follows:
- Imazolil inhibits sterol production in the cell membranes of phytopathogens. This inhibits demethylation at position 14 of lanosterol or 24 of methylenedihydrolanosterol. The substance promotes the rupture of fungal membranes.
- Tebuconazole inhibits ergosterol production in pathogen cell membranes. It prevents external and internal seed infections. This component helps prevent infections with common smut and loose smut. It also prevents the development of helminthosporiosis and septoria.
- Thiabendazole disrupts the cell division process of pathogens. This component significantly enhances the effectiveness of other active ingredients. This product helps combat various types of rot that affect underground plant tissue. It also helps prevent the development of snow mold.
