To control weeds and shrubs in non-agricultural areas, non-selective herbicides are used. Imazapyr can be sprayed throughout the season. The duration of the herbicide's effectiveness depends on the number of weeds and their species, the application rate, and climatic conditions.
What is included in the composition and dosage form
The product is available as a 25% water-soluble concentrate. Its active ingredient, imazapyr, helps kill both unwanted grassy vegetation and trees and shrubs. The concentrate is sold in 10-liter plastic canisters.
Mechanism of action and what it is needed for
Thanks to the herbicide's action, it's easy to clear areas of perennial and annual broadleaf weeds, deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs (aspen, alder, willow, pine, and spruce). The herbicide is most often used to maintain order along highways, embankments near railways and highways, power lines, land near airfields, and at industrial sites.

Instructions for use
To ensure effective spraying, it is important to follow the recommendations for using the solution and observe the consumption rates of the concentrate:
| Processing object | Type of weeds | Consumption rates (l/ha) | Features of application |
| Non-agricultural lands | woody and shrubby vegetation | 2.0-5.0 | processing of areas in the period April-September |
| herbaceous vegetation | 2.0-2.5 | spraying greens in the early growth phase |
It is recommended to prepare the working solution immediately before use. Spraying is carried out in dry, windless weather. The manufacturer notes that the herbicide will not wash off if precipitation occurs within an hour.

Precautionary measures
"Imazapyr" is classified as a Class 3 hazard to bees and humans. When diluting the concentrate and spraying vegetation, adhere to the following safety standards:
- put on personal protective equipment (respirator, glasses, special clothing and shoes);
- During the treatment process, you must not eat, drink or smoke;
- It is recommended to carry out work in dry, windless weather (morning or evening).
The drug is not considered hazardous. However, if it comes into contact with the eyes or skin, rinse the affected area with clean running water. If symptoms of acute poisoning appear (lethargy, increased salivation), it is important to seek medical attention.

Is compatibility possible?
Manufacturers allow compatibility of the herbicide with other products. It is advisable to test the mixtures beforehand. Increased effectiveness has been observed when mixing Imazapyr with the herbicide Buran Super (it virtually completely eradicates hogweed, couch grass, and field thistle).
Storage conditions
A separate, dry, ventilated room is allocated for storage. Exposure to light can cause the active ingredient to decompose. Therefore, canisters are stored in the dark. The recommended temperature range is 10-25°C. Ideally, store the concentrate in its original packaging.

Substitute products
To treat areas with unwanted hair growth, you can use other preparations whose active ingredient is imazapyr.
- The herbicide "Grader" is a non-selective herbicide that prevents and eradicates weeds and unwanted trees and shrubs. Its advantage is that it can be used to treat weeds at any stage of development. Remarkably, its effectiveness is not reduced by dust or dirt on the leaf blades. The herbicide is resistant to rain and low temperatures.
- The drug "Kaptora" is a systemic herbicide and effectively combats annual cereal and dicotyledonous weeds.
Imazapyr helps quickly kill weeds on your property. However, using aircraft to spray the solution is not recommended. It's also not recommended to use the herbicide on private plots.
