Florovit's application to plants can achieve numerous beneficial effects. It's most commonly used as a blueberry fertilizer, but its potential is much broader. It contains nitrogen in various forms, depending on the specific product. It also contains additional components, including potassium, molybdenum, copper, and iron.
What is included in the composition and dosage form
Florovit is a high-quality fertilizer from a Polish manufacturer that has been used for over 40 years. It is considered the best-selling fertilizer in Poland. The product range includes many types of fertilizers, tailored to the needs of specific plant categories. Therefore, their use guarantees excellent results.
Chemical fertilizers come in dry, liquid, and granular forms, containing nutrients and vitamins. They dissolve readily in water and do not form sediment. These products are widely used for garden, indoor, and orchard crops.

A distinctive feature of these fertilizers is the formation of a special coating on stems and leaves, which produces excellent results. Therefore, spraying is more effective than root application. The coating protects plants from moisture loss, temperature fluctuations, and pest attacks.
Purpose
Florovit fertilizers are designed for root and foliar feeding of vegetables, fruit, and ornamental crops. They can also be used on houseplants. After application, a film forms on the leaf surface, allowing nutrients to quickly penetrate the tissue. Therefore, foliar application is considered more effective.

The brand produces several types of drugs:
- Lime – used to reduce soil acidity. Its main component is calcium.
- For acid-loving crops—many plants require highly acidic soil. This type of fertilizer helps create the right conditions for them.
- For conifers, after applying the product, these plants become more lush and decorative. At the same time, their needles retain a rich green color.
- For grapes, the composition should be applied during the soil preparation stage before planting young crops. It is also used on mature plants throughout the entire active growing season.
- For indoor and garden flowers, this product promotes active shoot growth and intensifies petal color.
- For strawberries, this product helps prevent foliar chlorosis and improve berry quality. It can be used in open ground and plastic greenhouses.
- Universal – this product can be used to feed any perennials. It also helps improve soil composition.
Rules for using fertilizer
Florovit is considered a fairly popular fertilizer, distinguished by its high effectiveness. There are quite a few different versions of this brand available, each with different application instructions:
- For blueberries. The composition is applied after planting, throughout the growing season, and in subsequent years. The advantage of this fertilizer is that it acidifies the soil. The first application is in the spring. Then, the composition is applied twice more, one month apart. The product is not used after mid-June. During the first year, apply 20 grams of the product per square meter. Subsequently, the dosage is increased to 35 grams.
- For strawberries and wild strawberries. This formula increases yield and improves fruit flavor. Apply 0.5 kilograms of the substance per 10 square meters of plantings during the first year. Subsequently, apply 250 grams per 10 square meters of plantings.
- For grapes. Before planting, apply 100 grams of the substance per square meter. During the first year of growth, apply fertiliser twice: in the spring and one week before flowering. Apply 45 grams per bush both times. From the second year onwards, the rate increases to 65 grams.
- Ground dolomite. This product is suitable for acidic soils with low magnesium content. The dosage depends on the pH of the specific soil type and ranges from 850 to 2000 grams per 100 square meters. Application should be made in late winter or early spring.
- Lime. This product helps reduce the acidity of any soil. It saturates the soil with calcium and improves its structure. Apply the mixture one month before planting or in mid-autumn. For highly acidic soil, apply up to 5 kilograms per 100 square meters. For mildly acidic soil, apply 1.5 kilograms.

Safety precautions
Florovit is classified as a Class III toxicity product, meaning it is a moderately hazardous substance. When working with the product, wear standard protective equipment—a mask, gloves, and overalls. After spraying, wash your face and take a shower.
Compatibility
All types of the preparation can be combined with crop protection products. However, a compatibility test should be performed first. If sediment or flakes appear, it is best to discard the mixture.
Storage terms and conditions
It is recommended to store the product in a separate, dark, and dry place. The temperature should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius. However, the instructions do not specify an expiration date.
What to replace it with
There are no exact analogues to Florovit. Therefore, you can choose a comprehensive formula depending on the crops growing in your area.
