Instructions for use of universal fertilizer OMU, pros and cons

OMU is a popular all-purpose fertilizer used by many gardeners. This unique product helps improve crop growth and development and increases yields. Many types of this fertilizer are available today, allowing you to choose the most suitable option. To ensure the product achieves the desired effect, it is important to strictly follow the instructions for use.

What does WMD mean?

OMU is an organomineral fertilizer designed to nourish a wide variety of crops. It is considered a unique product with numerous advantages. The composition is based on lowland peat. Manure or poultry manure is also often used for this purpose.

After processing, various microelements are added to the mixture, which are necessary for the full development of crops and increased yields. One of the most popular is the organomineral fertilizer "Universal."

Active ingredient and characteristics

OMU fertilizer is made from lowland peat. Manure or litter can also be added. After processing the organic matter, minerals necessary for crop development are added.

The product contains the following components:

  • 8% potassium;
  • 7% phosphorus;
  • 7% nitrogen;
  • 2.6% humic substances;
  • 1.5% magnesium.

The composition is produced in granular form and added to the soil. They do not dissolve or leach into the deep soil structures, so the nutrients remain near the crops' root system. To accelerate the processing of organic matter, soil bacteria are added to the composition.

This is by no means a complete list of possible products. Products for strawberries, grapes, cucumbers, eggplants, and many other crops are also available.

Method of manufacturing WMD

To make fertilizer you need to do the following:

  1. Prepare the raw materials. At this stage, the peat must be cleaned. A magnetic separator is used to remove metallic elements. Afterwards, the fine soil particles are crushed and cleaned. After passing through the drying unit, the peat is reduced in size by 20%. Finally, it is placed in a cyclone.
  2. Make a humic reagent. This involves treating the raw material with hydrogen peroxide, which produces humic acids. Sodium or potassium hydroxide is then added to the mixture.
  3. Make a liquid composition. The production process begins with adding water to the humic reagent. At this stage, the beneficial substances also need to be prepared. To do this, the salts are mixed with water, after which the humic reagent is added.
  4. Prepare a granulated composition. The humic reagent is mixed with liquid and dry substances, after which it is ground. The mixture is then placed in a granulation machine. The resulting substances are cooled and packaged.
