The Zinulya tomato is an easy-to-grow variety. It can be grown not only in a greenhouse but also in open ground. If you have a heated greenhouse, you can eat fresh tomatoes year-round.

What is the Zinulya tomato?

Characteristics and description of the variety:

1. This variety is immune to many diseases.
2. On average, one bush can yield up to 4 kg of harvest, despite the small height of the plants, which ranges from 60 to 80 cm.
3. Zinulya tomatoes are excellent for fresh consumption, canning, or processing into tomato juice.
4. They contain abundant vitamins B, C, and PP, antioxidants, and pectin. Tomatoes have earned positive reviews primarily for their delicious taste.
5. Beautiful, soft pink tomatoes have excellent taste: juicy with a typical tomato acidity.
6. The fruits are round in shape, the skin is tender, thin with a pearlescent sheen.

After reviewing reviews of the Zinulya tomato variety, you can see that the fruits are indeed large, weighing from 150 to 250 g, with some tomatoes weighing around 300 g.

How are seeds sown?

To improve the plant's immunity, it is recommended to soak the seeds before sowing in a solution of potassium permanganate (1 g per 200 ml of water) for 10-20 minutes, rinse them and soak them in any hormonal agent.

After sowing, the container with soil should be covered with film, regularly checking to ensure that the seeds do not steam.

When planting tomatoes in the ground, the best predecessors are cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, cauliflower, parsley, and dill. When planting seedlings in their permanent locations, it's important to maintain proper spacing between plants; a 40x50 cm area is recommended for each plant. This means that approximately four plants can fit per square meter. It usually takes about 90 days from the first shoots to the beginning of fruiting.

Plant care

The Zinulya variety is quite unpretentious, but to increase the yield, it is recommended to feed each bush according to the following scheme:

1. Before flowering - up to 3 g of nitrogen fertilizers.
2. After flowering - up to 3 g of potassium fertilizers.
3. Every 2 weeks - up to 3 g of calcium nitrate.
4. Biostimulant with frequency and dosage according to the instructions.

A couple of weeks before harvesting the first crop, to prevent diseases and protect against insects, you can treat the bushes with an infusion of garlic or celandine at a rate of 150 ml of solution per bush.

When using chemicals, it is necessary to take into account their compatibility and duration of action.

It is important not to overwater the soil when irrigating; soft Zinulya tomatoes may begin to crack from excess moisture.

The bush's flexible stem is quite stable, so staking should be done only when necessary. The stem should be trained into 1-2 trunks.

With proper planting techniques, you can harvest 12-15 kg of tomatoes per square meter. Up to 40% of the tomatoes will be ripe by the first harvest. Each cluster produces 5-6 tomatoes.
Care should be taken when transporting Zinulya tomatoes over long distances: the soft tomatoes may crack or become bruised.

Zinulya-2 tomatoes are available on the market. Both varieties have similar flavors, but Zinulya-2 tomatoes are larger, weighing up to 450 g, and are less prone to cracking, indicating better transportability. The tomato's large size makes whole-fruit canning virtually impossible.

Another variant of this variety is Zinaida. These tomatoes are smaller, weighing 130-160 g, but have the same attractive appearance, flavor, ripening speed, and better disease resistance. When planted in a plastic greenhouse, they yield up to 16 kg per square meter. The firmer tomatoes withstand transportation better and rarely crack.

Excellent taste and early ripening are advantages of the Zinulya tomato variety over similar competitors. Given the right conditions, you can enjoy fresh tomatoes all year round.
