The fungicide "Kolosal" is a systemic product with therapeutic and preventative properties. It helps combat a wide range of fungal diseases. It is commonly used on rapeseed, grapes, rice, and cereal crops. For the product to be effective, it must be applied correctly. To ensure this, it is recommended to strictly follow the instructions.
Composition, existing forms of release and purpose
"Kolosal" is a systemic medication that consists of two components. One liter of the product contains the following ingredients:
- 300 grams of propiconazole;
- 200 grams of tebuconazole.
The substance is produced as an emulsifiable concentrate. It is used to combat various types of rust, powdery mildew, and fusarium. It also helps combat Alternaria, powdery mildew, and leaf spot.
How does the product work?
The active ingredients of the drug inhibit the production of ergosterol in the cell membranes of plant pathogens. As a result, the cell walls of harmful microorganisms are destroyed, and mycelial growth is stopped. The active components migrate acropetally and are quickly absorbed by the vegetative parts of crops. Tebuconazole has preventive properties and a therapeutic and systemic effect. It effectively eliminates powdery mildew and rust.
Propiconazole has both preventative and therapeutic properties. It helps suppress spore formation in pathogens and combat various types of spotting. It also promotes growth, improves carbon dioxide uptake by crops, and enhances photosynthesis.

How long does the effect last and how quickly does it work?
This fungicide penetrates the plant's structure through the leaves and stems. This occurs within 2-4 hours after application. The substance is evenly distributed throughout the plant tissues, preventing the spread of pathogens.
Pros and cons

The product has virtually no drawbacks. The only drawback is the need to strictly follow the instructions and safety rules.
Calculation of consumption
The application rate of the working solution depends on the crops to be treated. For grain crops, 300 liters per hectare is required. For rice, 200-300 liters of liquid per hectare are used.
Rules for preparing the working mixture
Preparing a working solution of the fungicide has its own specific requirements. In all cases, Kolosal is added to water. The opposite is not recommended. Do not mix the product with liquid in a mixing tank. It should be added to a sprayer tank half-filled with water.

Instructions for use
When using this product, strictly follow the instructions. The dosage and application instructions are listed in the table:
| Norm of use of the substance | Culture | Diseases | Processing Features | Waiting period (number of treatments) |
| 0.5 | Spring wheat | Yellow, stem, brown rust | Spraying is required during the growing season. This should be done at the flag leaf stage, when the earing begins. 300 liters of working solution are required per hectare. | 30 (1) |
| 0.75-1 | Spring wheat | Septoria, powdery mildew | Spraying should be done when the flag leaf begins to grow. 300 liters of the product are required per hectare. | 30 (1) |
| 0.5 | Winter wheat | Yellow, brown, stem rust | Spraying is required during the flag leaf growth stage. The recommended application rate is 300 liters per hectare. | 30 (1) |
| 0.75-1 | Winter wheat | Powdery mildew | Spraying should begin at the flag leaf stage. The recommended application rate is 300 liters per hectare. | 30 (1) |
| 1 | Winter wheat | Yellow spot, septoria, pyrenophorosis | Spray the plants when the flag leaf emerges. 300 liters of spray solution is required per hectare. | 30 (1) |
Precautions when working
When using this substance, it is imperative to observe safety precautions. Do not use the product without personal protective equipment. It is important to wear a respirator, goggles, and gloves.
The working solution must be prepared and poured into the sprayer at designated filling stations. These stations should be located away from residential buildings, water sources, and storage areas for seeds and forage.
The distance between such buildings and the filling station must be at least 200 meters.
Is there resistance?
If the application rates and technology for using the composition are observed, the risk of pathogens developing resistance is unlikely.

How toxic is the drug?
The drug belongs to hazard class 2, which is considered a highly hazardous compound.
Possible compatibility
"Kolosal" can be mixed with insecticides and herbicides. For treating grain crops, it can be combined with "Demetra" or "Ballerina." When preparing the working mixture, "Kolosal" should be added to the tank last.
Do not mix the fungicide with products that are highly acidic or alkaline. Before using, it is important to check the compatibility of the ingredients and assess their phytotoxicity.

Storage terms and conditions
The medication must be stored in a special room. It must be in an airtight container. The storage temperature should be between 15 and 35 degrees Celsius. The shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
Analogues
The following are considered effective analogues of the composition:
- Alto Super;
