Rational use of antifungal agents in agriculture allows farmers to avoid the most common grain crop diseases, preserve, and even increase their yields. According to the instructions, the fungicide "Strike Forte" is designed to combat fungal infections affecting wheat, barley, and rapeseed. When used correctly, the product provides long-term protection to plants without causing any harmful effects.
Purpose, composition and existing forms of release
The "Strike" Forte series is designed to combat fungal and bacterial-fungal infections of cereal crops. The product provides a comprehensive therapeutic and protective effect, restores infected plant parts at the initial stage of infection, and provides long-lasting prevention of recurrence.
The fungicide contains substances with pronounced antifungal activity: tebuconazole in the amount of 225 grams in combination with 75 grams of flutriafol per 1 liter of the total volume of the mixture.
Mechanism of action
The fungicide's eradicating and protective action is due to the effects of its constituent compounds. Tebuconazole is a triazole. Rapidly penetrating plant tissue pathways, the compound inhibits ergosterol synthesis at the membrane-cellular level, disrupting metabolic processes and rendering fungal agents ineffective.

Flutriafol, also a triazole derivative, exhibits fungicidal activity against airborne, soil-borne, and seed-borne parasitic fungi. The compound disrupts the assembly of the fungal cell wall, inhibiting mycelial germination. Flutriafol also has a fumigant effect.
Thanks to the combination of active ingredients, Strike Forte has a broad spectrum of action against various types of pathogenic fungi that affect grain crops and rapeseed.
Pros and cons
The fungicide has a number of advantages combined with a few disadvantages.

The downside of this fungicide is its high potential health hazard. To avoid potential problems, follow the instructions for use.
Consumption rates for different pests and diseases
Therapeutic doses of the drug vary slightly depending on the type of pathogenic fungal and mixed strains. Application rates for Strike Forte fungicide:
| Name of the crop | Types of mycosis | Dose of the drug, liter/1 hectare | Standard consumption rate of working solution, liter/1 hectare | Waiting period, days |
| Wheat | Rust Powdery mildew Pyrenophora Septoria |
0.5-0.75 |
200-300 |
60 |
| Septoria leaf and spike blight
Pyrenophora |
0.75 | |||
| Barley plantings | Rust
Powdery mildew Spotting |
0.5-0.75 | ||
| Brown and net spot | 0.75 | |||
| Rape | Alternaria
Sclerotinia |
0.5-0.75 |

According to the recommendations for use, spring and winter crops are treated once.
How to prepare a working solution and its application
Before use, Strike Forte concentrate must be diluted in water. To prepare the dilution, dissolve the required volume of emulsion in one-third of the total volume of water, mix thoroughly, and then add the remaining water to reach the specified volume.
Treatment is carried out with a freshly prepared working solution of the fungicide by spraying the above-ground parts of plants during the growing season, at the earing stage or at the initial stage of pod formation.
Security measures
Work with the drug requires careful handling and compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards.

To avoid harmful effects of fungicides on human health and the environment, the following rules must be followed:
- use protective equipment for work (closed special suit, boots, glasses, respirator);
- carry out treatment in the evening hours under favorable weather conditions;
- restrict access of third parties and animals to the work area;
- Avoid direct contact of skin, mucous membranes, and respiratory tract with the composition.
It is prohibited to use the product near water bodies and adjacent areas.
Degree of toxicity
Strike Forte is classified as a Class 2 toxicity chemical, indicating a high risk to human health. It is important to follow the safety guidelines for its use. The fungicide poses a moderate risk to bees (Class 3). It is recommended to limit bee flight in the first hours after treatment.

Possible compatibility
Strike Forte can be used in combination with other pesticides, provided that the components of the mixture are chemically compatible.
Storage conditions
The fungicide should be stored in a tightly sealed container, isolated from household items and food products, out of the reach of children and animals, at a temperature not exceeding +30 °C.
Best before date
3 years.
