"Nissoran" is an acaricide designed to kill pests, primarily mites. It can be used on soybeans and a number of other crops. Internationally, the product is also used on blackcurrants, apple trees, grapes, eggplants, and other crops. For effective results, it's important to follow the instructions carefully.
Active ingredient and dosage form
This medication is considered a hormonal agent. Its active ingredient is hexythiazox. One liter of the medication contains 250 grams of this component. It belongs to the chemical class of thiazolidines. However, it does not contain copper. The substance is available as a light-gray powder with low toxicity. It is then mixed with water.
How it works and what it is used for
The active ingredient in Nissoran belongs to the chemical group of thiazolidines. These substances have a hormonal effect. The product is a non-systemic acaricide with contact and stomach action. It exhibits translaminar activity. The substance quickly migrates through the leaves, providing a long-lasting and reliable effect. The product does not control adult insects. It is characterized by ovicidal activity. Furthermore, the product reliably controls the larval and nymphal stages.

The main features of Nissan include the following:
- Controls the most common species of plant-eating mites. This product helps control garden spider mites, red fruit mites, and common spider mites.
- Pronounced ovicidal effect. This product effectively kills nymphs and larvae.
- The effect on adults is weak. However, if the female lays eggs on treated surfaces, the egg mass loses its viability.
- Long-lasting protective action.
- No cross-resistance with acaricides from other chemical classes.
- Suitable for use in integrated fruit plant protection systems. The product does not affect beneficial entomofauna and poses no risk to pollinators.
- Translaminar action. This effect allows the product to control pests that were not treated. This also applies to hard-to-reach areas.
- No phytotoxicity to plants.
Dosage and instructions for use
Since Nissoran does not affect adults and effectively controls nymphs, larvae, and egg-laying eggs, treatments are recommended before a significant increase in the herbivorous mite population. If the pest population has already significantly exceeded the economic threshold, it is recommended to combine Nissoran with acaricides that control adults. This particularly applies to Sanmite.
When alternating products, it's important to continually vary their mechanisms of action. This helps prevent pest resistance. Furthermore, when using an integrated protection system and reducing the number of treatments with general-purpose insecticides, the number of natural predators of ticks will increase. This will help reduce the number of acaricide sprays.

It is recommended to carry out treatment in dry and calm weather. This should be done early in the morning or late in the evening. During the day, spraying is only permissible in cloudy weather.
The instructions for use of the product include the following dosages and consumption rates:
| Culture | Norm | Harmful object | Processing Features |
| Apple | 0.15-0.25 | Spider mites and brown fruit mites | Spraying is required during the growing season. 600-1200 liters of working solution are required per hectare. |
| Grape | 0.15-0.25 | Spider mites | Treatment is carried out during the growing season. 600-1000 liters of working solution are required per hectare. |
| Soybeans | 0.1-0.2 | Spider mites | Treatments are carried out during the growing season. 200-400 liters of working solution should be used per hectare. |
Precautionary measures
When handling plants, be sure to wear personal protective equipment—special clothing, gloves, and goggles. After handling, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. When handling large areas, taking a shower is recommended. Rinse your mouth with clean water. Wash your clothes.
In case of accidental contact with the substance, remove it from the skin and go outside for fresh air. If the substance enters the gastrointestinal tract, consult a doctor.
What can it be combined with?
For repeated treatments, the product can be combined with pesticides and crop growth regulators. It can also be combined with substances from the avermectin category, such as Fitoverm or Actofit. If compatibility is unknown, it's worth conducting a test. To do this, mix small amounts of the products in a separate, clean container. If the reaction doesn't result in sediment, flakes, or changes in temperature or light, these products can be combined.

How and how long to store
It is recommended to store Nissoran in a dry place. The temperature should be between -15 and +30 degrees Celsius. It is important to keep the product away from food and medications. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets. Do not store the working solution in a cool place. Once prepared, use it immediately.
What to replace it with
The following substances are considered effective analogues of Nissoran:
- "Resonance";
- "Kanonier Duo";
- "Calypso";
- "Pharaoh".
Nissoran is an effective product that helps control a wide range of pests. It also effectively kills ticks. It is recommended to use the product strictly according to the instructions. Only then will it achieve the desired results. Compliance with safety precautions is also crucial. This will help prevent any negative effects on the human body.
