Pesticides help protect crops from various diseases. Alcorom Super is used to treat spiked grains and sugar beets against fungal diseases. This product has a wide range of applications and provides plant protection throughout the growing season. This pesticide significantly improves crop quality.
What is included in the composition and existing forms of release
The pesticide is available as a concentrated emulsion, stored in 5-liter plastic canisters. Active ingredients:
- Propiconazole is used to combat imperfect fungi. It is effective in protecting plants from rust, powdery mildew, and spotting. It also has a therapeutic effect on beneficial crops.
- Cyproconazole exhibits high activity against rust fungi. It is rapidly absorbed by roots and foliage, with effects observed within 30 minutes.
The combination product is resistant to precipitation. Another advantage of this pesticide is its low consumption when diluting the working solution.
Mechanism of operation
The pesticide's unique effect on fungal infections is its disruption of ergosterol synthesis. Propiconazole inhibits sporulation, causing fungal growth to cease within a couple of days. The substance is particularly toxic to the vegetative organs of fungi. At the same time, increased photosynthesis is observed in the flank leaves of winter wheat.
Cyproconazole, by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis in plant pathogen cells, disrupts physiological processes. Due to its rapid action, pathogens are quickly killed.

Purpose
The systemic pesticide "Alcor Super" is used for protective treatment of sugar beets and spiked grain crops. It has demonstrated effectiveness in controlling red-brown spot, black spot, early blight, various forms of rust, septoria leaf spot, powdery mildew, net spot, and other plant diseases.
Calculation of consumption
When preparing a working solution, you need to take into account the type of crop being treated and the manufacturer's recommendations.
| Name of plant crops | Consumption rates, l/ha | Destroys diseases |
| Winter and spring wheat | 0.4-0.5 | brown rust, septoria, yellow and stem rust, powdery mildew |
| Winter rye | 0.41-0.5 | brown rust, septoria leaf spot, stem rust, rhynchosporium leaf spot |
| Sugar beet | 0.51-0.7 | powdery mildew, cercospora leaf spot, phomosis |
| Spring and winter barley | 0.42-0.5 | dwarf and stem rust, powdery mildew |

Instructions for use
When using the Alcor Super pesticide, keep in mind that it is a concentrated emulsion. Here are the steps for preparing the working solution:
- a portion of the pesticide is diluted with a small amount of water;
- the sprayer tank is half filled with water;
- a portion of the concentrated solution is poured into the container, stirring vigorously;
- the tank is completely filled with water.

Precautionary rules
The manufacturer claims the pesticide's phytotoxicity is within acceptable limits. However, there are several caveats:
- It is prohibited to spray the solution using aircraft;
- do not process crops in windy weather (permissible wind speed is 4-5 m/s);
- When spraying an area, maintain a safe zone for bees of 2-3 km.
It is recommended to restrict the movement of bees in the treated area for 3-4 hours after treatment of plant crops.
How and how long to store
A separate room is designated for storing the pesticide. Animal feed and food products are not permitted in this room. The emulsion has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture.

Analogues
For treating plant crops, manufacturers offer several preparations containing propiconazole and/or cyproconazole:
- "Alto Turbo" is characterized by instant action, a long protective period and exhibits a healing effect;
- Tilt Turbo can be used at low temperatures (from +6 °C), so the pesticide is used mainly in the autumn-spring period.
Most drugs simultaneously exhibit a destructive effect on pathogenic fungi and a therapeutic effect.
The pesticide "Alcor Super" is used both to restore damaged plants and for preventative purposes. It is economical to use and remains effective even after precipitation. It has a long-lasting effect.
