Instructions for use and composition of the fungicide Profi Super, dosage, and analogues

Fungicides are agrochemicals used to protect plants from fungal infections. They may contain one or more active ingredients and are suitable for treating vegetable crops, forage grasses, and grains. To choose the right product for your plot, it's important to understand its properties and purpose. Detailed information about the Profi Super fungicide will help you make the right choice.

What is included in the composition and release forms?

Profi Super contains two active ingredients and is marketed as a concentrated emulsion (CE). It belongs to the triazole class of chemicals and has protective and therapeutic properties. It is a contact and systemic pesticide that not only remains on the surface of the treated plant but also penetrates it, protecting crops from infection.

The fungicide contains:

  • propiconazole - 250 grams/liter;
  • cyproconazole - 80 grams/liter.

The complex action of the components provides a preventative and therapeutic effect, protecting grain and sugar beet crops.

This product is manufactured by the Russian company OOO SOYUZAGROKHIM using imported ingredients and is packaged in 5-liter plastic canisters. It is designed to protect crops over large areas.

Important: Not for use in private households. Each fungicide package contains detailed manufacturer's instructions on the name, purpose, and usage of the pesticide.

Operating principle

Penetrating propiconazole into cereal foliage inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis. It blocks mycelial growth by affecting the pathogen's intercellular membranes. It inhibits spore development. It enhances photosynthesis, thereby improving plant development. It does not penetrate the ear.

Cyproconazole acts on the roots of cereals, blocking the development of fungal infection, acting similarly to propiconazole in the underground part of crops.

Purpose

Used to prevent the development of all types of rust on grain crops (rye, wheat, oats). It protects plants from rhynchosporiosis, pyrenophorosis, and septoria leaf and ear blight. It is also used to protect sugar beet crops from cercospora leaf spot, powdery mildew, and phoma.

Advantages of using the fungicide "Profi Super":

  1. After application, it provides a preventative, long-term protective and therapeutic effect.
  2. It quickly penetrates the plant system and begins to affect the infection within 1 hour after application. Its effectiveness is not affected by precipitation.
  3. Mutually enhances the action of active components (synergy), ensuring effectiveness of the effect and reducing the consumption rates of the drug.
  4. It does not have phytotoxicity, improves the quality of the harvest, enhancing the growth and development of grain crops.

The protective period is 40-45 days; one treatment per season is sufficient. Sugar beets require 1-2 sprays during the growing season.

Calculation of consumption

Treatment is carried out using a working solution of the preparation. Do not exceed its concentration on your own.

Crop treatment is carried out in cloudy, windless weather. Workers and equipment are allowed to enter the fields three days after spraying.

How to make a working mixture

The solution is prepared before spraying plants and should not be stored for more than 24 hours. To prepare, add 1/3 of the calculated amount of water to the tank with the mixer running. Add the fungicide concentrate (FC), and after thoroughly mixing, add the remaining solvent (water). Mix the prepared working solution for 10 minutes, then pour it into the sprayer.

Terms of Use

The product is classified as hazard class 3 (moderate toxicity) for humans and hazard class 3 (low toxicity) for bees. It is not used in water protection zones of bodies of water; spraying should be done on cloudy, windless days. The fungicide is suitable for aerial application to crops.

After completing the work, the sprayer is washed to remove any remaining product and all parts are dried.

Precautionary measures

Before beginning work, employees undergo safety training for working with fungicides. They are provided with protective suits, respirators, and gloves. Smoking and eating are prohibited during work.
