Fungal diseases of fruit crops can affect trees in any garden. Apple trees are often affected. Let's look at the composition of the fungicide "Tersel," how it works, and its intended purpose. We'll also discuss the dosage and application of the product, as well as its proper use. Can it be combined with other agricultural products, how to store it properly, and what alternatives it can be used with.
What is included in the composition and dosage form
BASF, the manufacturer of the fungicide "Tersel," produces the product as water-dispersible granules in 5 kg bags. It is classified as a protective and curative pesticide and has a contact action. Its chemical composition includes two substances: dithianon at a concentration of 120 g per liter and pyraclostrobin at a concentration of 40 g per kg.
Operating principle and purpose
Dithianon acts on fungal enzymes, preventing addiction. Pyraclostrobin is a new-generation active ingredient from the strobilurin group. It works by inhibiting respiration in fungal cells. It blocks energy processes in the cells, halting spore germination and mycelial growth.
The drug "Tersel" is used to treat apple trees against scab, fruit rot: bitter, monilial, pnicillium, which affects the fruit during storage, against alternaria, powdery mildew and phyllostictosis.

Calculation of consumption
The recommended application rate for Tersel in agriculture is 2-2.5 kg per hectare. Orchards are sprayed three times per season, first at the bud stage, then with a 1.5-2 week interval. 1,000 liters of the prepared solution should be used per hectare of plantings. Allow 20 days between the last application and harvest to ensure that no traces of the active ingredients remain in the fruit.
Terms of Use
Tersel is highly effective against powdery mildew and scab. The solution is resistant to rain washout and adheres well. For best results, fungicide treatments should be used preventatively before signs of disease appear.
The optimal time to apply Tersel is at the first signs of infection. Weather conditions for treatment include temperatures from +5°C to +25°C and wind speeds of no more than 3-4 m/sec.

Prepare the working solution just before spraying. Preparation: Fill the tank one-third full with water, add the required amount of granules, stir until dissolved, then add water and stir again.
Safety precautions
Tersel fungicide has a toxicity class of 2 for humans and 3 for bees. It is not permitted to treat gardens near bodies of water, as the active ingredients may be hazardous to fish. Treatment of gardens from airplanes is permitted.

After working with Tercel, wash your face and hands with soap. If the solution comes into contact with your skin, rinse with clean water. Rinse your eyes and mouth if the solution gets into them. If the solution gets into your stomach, perform a gastrointestinal lavage: drink activated charcoal and water. After 15 minutes, induce vomiting. If the poisoning is severe, consult a doctor.
Is compatibility possible?
Tersel fungicide can be combined with various pesticides: insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides. It is recommended to mix it with Bellis, Bi-58 Novy, Poliram, Fastak, Masai, and Kumulus.

How to store it correctly and for how long
The product's shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Store Tercel in pesticide warehouses, at moderate temperatures, in a dry, dark place. Granules should be kept in the manufacturer's bags, tightly sealed. Protect the granules from moisture, which they easily absorb.
Do not store food, feed, household products, or medications near the product. Other products and fertilizers may be stored nearby. Do not use the fungicide after the expiration date. Use the Tercel solution on the same day it is prepared; storage for up to one day is acceptable. The solution loses its effectiveness if stored longer.
Analogues
Dithianon-based agricultural alternatives to Tercel include Delan Pro, Delor, Acrobat Top, Delan, and Granny. Pyraclostrobin-based alternatives include Priaxor, Ferazim Green, Abacus Prime, Optimo, Crystal, Protego Max, Karamba Duo, Ceriax Plus, Bellis, Mysteria, Inshur Perform, Signum, Abacus Ultra, Cabrio Top, and Delit Pro.

All products are used only in agriculture; there are other preparations for use in private gardens.
Tersel is a two-component fungicide for treating apple trees against major fungal diseases. It works over a wide temperature range and is resistant to rain washout. The protective period lasts up to two weeks, and three applications can be made per season. Spraying with the fungicide suppresses spore germination and mycelium growth. Treatment is performed prophylactically or as a treatment if the disease progresses.
