To make a high-quality and delicious drink, it is important to choose ripe and juicy fruits that are sweet in taste and have only a slight sourness.
To select citrus fruits of the appropriate quality, follow these guidelines:
- buy fruits only during the winter season, starting from December and ending in March, when they contain the greatest amount of vitamins;
- When choosing quality, it is worth giving preference to citrus fruits grown in Spain;
- the skin of ripe and rich fruits has a smooth surface and a yellowish-orange color;
- The presence of a bumpy surface and a deep yellow color indicates strong chemical treatment.
