1. The vegetative period of tomato from the development of seedlings to the receipt of the first fruits lasts from 100 to 110 days.
2. The My Family variety grows to a height of 0.7–0.8 m. In greenhouses, the tomato can reach a height of 1.0–1.2 m. The plant's stems produce a medium number of green leaves.
3. The variety description indicates that the tomato has a slightly flattened spheroid shape. The berries have faint ribs on their sides.
4. Ripe berries are colored raspberry and pink.
5. The fruit weighs 0.5–0.6 kg at the first harvest, and in subsequent harvests, the weight ranges from 0.35 to 0.45 kg. The fruit has sugary pulp and few seeds.

Reviews from gardeners growing the "Moya Semya" variety indicate that this tomato yields up to 10 kg of berries per bush. Because the fruits are quite heavy, gardeners have to install sturdy supports and tie the plant stems to them. To increase yield, breeders recommend promptly removing side shoots. Bushes are trained from 3-4 stems.

Retailers readily purchase this tomato from the public because it can be transported long distances without damage. In Russia, Moya Semya tomatoes can be grown outdoors in the southern regions. When planting seedlings in central Russia, it is recommended to use unheated plastic greenhouse blocks, although many gardeners propagate this variety directly in the open ground.

Methods of cultivating the variety

For sowing seeds, it is recommended to use containers with drainage holes. Fill them with soil, making 10 mm deep holes. Then, place the seeds in the holes, spacing them 40 mm apart.

The holes are covered with soil and moistened. At a room temperature of about 30°C, the seeds germinate within 4-5 days.

Once the sprouts have developed one or two leaves, they are pricked out. Water the seedlings with small amounts of warm water. If the soil moisture is too high, blackleg disease may develop.

Plant the seedlings in well-prepared soil. Add organic fertilizer or manure to the soil. Planting space should be 0.5 x 0.5 or 0.5 x 0.6 m. All tomato beds should receive adequate sunlight. If the plants shade each other, remove excess foliage.

Fertilizers are applied in the form of a liquid mixture twice during the entire plant development period. The first application, a nitrogen and potassium mixture, is added to the soil when planting the seedlings. The second application, a mixture of superphosphate and potassium nitrate, is applied when the tomato buds begin to form.

It's recommended to loosen the soil under the plants regularly (2-3 times a week). This will help ensure proper gas exchange at the tomato roots.

Water only when the soil beneath the plants is completely dry. Weeds must be removed promptly, otherwise you can lose up to 30% of your harvest. Although the tomato variety described has some resistance to fungal and microbial infections, it is recommended to treat the plant leaves with appropriate medicinal products to prevent the development of diseases.

To combat garden pests (Colorado potato beetles, aphids, nematodes, and various insect caterpillars), chemical pesticides are used. If slugs are numerous, they can be controlled by treating the soil under the bushes with ground ash. When growing tomatoes in a greenhouse, it is recommended to regularly ventilate the room.
