Growing and care
Seeds are usually planted in the first half of March, but this procedure can be extended until April.

Before planting, seeds must be properly treated. A weak solution of potassium permanganate is commonly used to disinfect the planting material, and a special activator is used to stimulate growth. The seeds are soaked in the solutions for no more than 30 minutes, after which they are rinsed in clean water and carefully laid out on a cloth or paper sheet to dry completely.
To grow seedlings, use special containers filled with a pre-prepared soil mixture. You can prepare fertile soil yourself by mixing equal parts soil, sand, and peat. The soil should be well moistened before planting.

The seed is planted 2-3 cm into the soil, then the seedling tray is covered with plastic wrap and moved to a well-lit area. The air temperature for growing seedlings should not fall below 16-17°C.
It's important to ventilate the mini-greenhouse daily and monitor the soil. Excess moisture and dampness can be detrimental to young seedlings.
Once the plant has 2 strong leaves, you can start picking. The bushes are planted in small peat pots, which allows the sprouts to be placed into the soil along with them when transplanting into open ground.
Seedlings are planted in open ground or a greenhouse 2-3 months after sowing the seeds. During this time, the plants' root system grows and strengthens.

Tomato beds need to be prepared in advance; many gardeners add special fertilizers to the soil in the fall. In the spring, immediately before planting, they add a solution of copper sulfate, followed later by humus and wood ash, or other complex mineral fertilizers.
No more than 4 plants are planted per square meter. The distance between plants should be at least 40–50 cm, and between rows – 60 cm.
Immediately after planting, install a support structure to support the bushes. It's best to mulch the holes with sawdust. Water the tomatoes regularly every other day.
Reviews of the Sweet Donut tomato are only positive; it has excellent characteristics and fully meets them.
