All plants are susceptible to fungal diseases. This applies to fruit and ornamental crops, as well as grain crops. To save crops and seeds, specialized products are needed, including the systemic fungicide "Comfort." It can be used to protect and cure crops and treat grain.
What is included in the composition and dosage form
The fungicide "Comfort" belongs to the benzimidazole class and is available as a suspension concentrate. The main active ingredient is carbendazim, available at a concentration of 500 grams per liter. The product is available as a suspension concentrate (KS) in 5-liter plastic canisters.
How it works and how long the effect lasts
The drug is non-phytotoxic. Its active ingredient binds macromolecules of a special protein, tubulin, which polymerizes into microscopic stubs.
The effect begins within 24-48 hours after treatment. Comfort's effectiveness lasts up to 3-4 weeks after treatment. The duration of effectiveness depends on weather conditions.
Purpose
The systemic fungicide "Comfort" is a preparation intended for treating seeds and crops of sugar beets and various types of grain crops.
Calculation of consumption
The percentage of Comfort suspension concentrate is calculated based on the application method. For seed treatment, a higher concentration is used – 1 to 1.5 liters per ton. For spray treatment, a lower concentration is used – 0.3-0.8 liters per hectare of crop. The concentration is selected depending on the crop and the severity of fungal infection.

Instructions for use
To ensure that the product can fully demonstrate its protective and healing properties, use the following instructions:
| Application rate
|
Culture | Disease | Time and method of processing | Waiting time and frequency of treatments |
| 0.3-0.6 | Rye, barley, wheat | Root and basal rot, lodging of stems (to prevent the condition) | Spraying during the growing season. Consumption of working solution: 300 liters per hectare |
35/1 |
| 0.5-0.6 | Rye, barley, wheat | Helminthosporium and powdery mildew | Spraying during the growing season. Consumption of the working composition is 300 liters per hectare |
35/2 |
| 0.6-0.8 | Sugar beet | Powdery mildew, cercospora, | Treatment during the growing season. Working fluid consumption: 200-400 liters per hectare. |

| 1-1.5 | Winter rye | Snow mold, stem smut and fusarium root rot | Seed treatment. Working fluid consumption: 10 liters per ton |

| 1-1.5 | Barley and wheat, spring and winter | Loose smut, hard smut, cercosporella, fusarium root rot and snow mold | Seed treatment. Consumption of the working composition is 10 liters per ton |

Precautionary measures
The fungicide "Comfort" is classified as hazard class 2 for humans and hazard class 3 for bees. This means it is hazardous to humans but poses little risk to bees. Therefore, treatments are carried out during hours when bees are not flying or pollinating plants.
Workers must observe the following precautions and rules:
- Do not eat, drink or smoke during treatment.
- Wear fully enclosed protective gear and specialized protective equipment: goggles, mask or respirator, rubber or latex gloves.
- After work, you must change clothes, wash your hands and face with soap, take a shower and change into clean clothes.
If drops of the medication come into contact with skin or mucous membranes, rinse immediately with plenty of running water. If skin irritation occurs or you feel unwell, seek medical attention.

If the product is accidentally swallowed, induce vomiting, drink several liters of water, then take activated charcoal and consult a doctor. If your health deteriorates sharply, call an ambulance.
Does resistance develop?
When used correctly, the Comfort preparation does not cause cross-resistance with other fungicides in the treated crop.
Possible compatibility
The Comfort fungicide is compatible with most pesticides – fungicides and insecticides – used to treat grain crops with therapeutic, protective, and preventative effects.

The product can also be mixed with micronutrient fertilizers, provided the following instructions are followed. The water should have a pH of less than 10, and its temperature should not drop below 10 degrees Celsius. The product is also compatible with the adjuvant "Agropol."
How to store it correctly and for how long
The shelf life of the drug "Comfort" is 236 months from the date of production, provided it is stored in a closed package.

The premises should be protected from direct sunlight and well ventilated. Keep the fungicide away from food, beverages, medications, and animal feed. Store "Comfort" in its original container or in labeled containers, protecting it from contact with strangers, children, and farm and pet animals.
What to replace it with
