Grain crops require protection from fungal diseases no less than other plants. Not only seedlings and mature plants require treatment, but also seeds. Treatment will help prevent future plant health problems, ensure excellent growth, and a bountiful harvest. In this case, the use of the systemic fungicide "Credo" is helpful.
Composition and dosage form
The fungicide "Credo" is available as a suspension concentrate. Its main active ingredient is carbendazim at a concentration of 500 grams per liter. This product belongs to the benzimidazole class of chemicals and has systemic therapeutic, protective, and preventive effects.
Purpose
"Credo" is a universal seed treatment and fungicide used to treat seeds against snow mold and other types of mildew on cereal crops. This same formulation can also be sprayed on growing plants, making "Credo" a dual-purpose pesticide. It prevents lodging of grain crops.
Mechanism of action
The preparation is absorbed into the plant's vascular system, rising from the roots upward as it grows, i.e., acropetally. Upon contact with the fungal pathogen, the active ingredient in Credo penetrates the cells and disrupts their nuclear division process. This disrupts the pathogen's life cycle and gradually destroys it.

Flow calculation and instructions for use
The instructions included with the product serve as the basis for preparing the working solution for "Credo." According to these instructions, the working solution should be applied at a rate of 250-300 liters per hectare of plantings.

Each culture uses its own concentration of the preparation:
| Plant type | Disease | Consumption rate, in liters per hectare |
| Winter wheat | Brown rust | 0.5 |
| Fusarium head blight | 1 | |
| Septoria | 1 | |
| Spring barley | Brown rust | 0.5 |
| Netted spot Fusarium head blight |
0.75-1 | |
| Spring and winter rapeseed | Alternaria
Ristoregulatory action |
0.75-1 |
| Soybeans | Anthracnose
Rust Powdery mildew |
1 |
| Rice | Blast disease | 0.5 - 1 |

The working solution is obtained as follows:
- The KS (suspension concentrate) must be shaken or stirred thoroughly before use.
- Take about a liter of clean water slightly above room temperature.
- Dilute the concentrate in the selected amount of water, stirring constantly until a homogeneous composition is obtained.
- Gradually add water and stir thoroughly until the solution reaches the required concentration.
The prepared solution must be used within 24 hours of dilution. Spray growing plants in the morning or evening, in dry, windless weather. To improve the contact of the Credo fungicide with the green foliage, add an adhesive to the diluted solution.
Seed or grain treatment is carried out in closed but well-ventilated areas after work.

Safety precautions
The fungicide "Credo" is classified as hazard class 2 for humans and class 3 for animals. This means it poses a hazard to humans but poses a low hazard to other living organisms. The pesticide is prohibited for use in water protection zones of bodies of water, as it negatively impacts aquatic vegetation.
The product should be applied not in direct sunlight, but in the morning and evening, but not during the active flight hours of bees and other pollinating insects.
Since the product poses a health hazard to workers, it is necessary to protect skin and mucous membranes with special means when using it. To do so, users should follow these recommendations:
- Wear protective clothing with long sleeves and legs that cover the extremities, as well as a head covering.
- Wear glasses, masks or respirators, rubber gloves.
- During work, refrain from talking, smoking, eating and drinking.
- After work, be sure to wash your hands and face with soap, take a shower, and change clothes.

If the substance comes into contact with skin, eyes, or mucous membranes, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of clean running water. If you feel unwell, seek medical attention.
What to do in case of poisoning
Accidental ingestion of a pesticide requires immediate action. The victim should be given large quantities of clean water to drink, then induced vomiting. After thoroughly evacuating the stomach, administer activated charcoal or any other available sorbent.
Is compatibility possible?
The drug "Credo" is considered compatible with most other pesticides, with the exception of those that are significantly acidic or highly alkaline.

When creating combined tank mixtures, it's important to test a small amount of the mixtures first to ensure compatibility. If the mixture doesn't produce any undesirable effects (stratification, sedimentation, gas formation, etc.), it can be used safely.
Storage terms and conditions
Credo is available in 5-liter plastic canisters. The product has a shelf life of 24 months. Store the fungicide in a cool, dark, and ventilated area. Store at temperatures ranging from -5 to +35 degrees Celsius. Protect from direct sunlight.

Keep Credo away from food, beverages, medications, and animal feed. Store the fungicide in its original packaging or with special labeling, out of the reach of children, animals, and unauthorized persons.
Analogues
Credo can be replaced with other carbendazim-based products. An example is Derosal, which has a similar composition and purpose to Credo. It is also used as a seed treatment and spray.
