The widespread use of fungicides in agriculture has made it possible to effectively combat plant infections and achieve high yields. When used correctly, these products are completely harmless to humans and the environment, and they do not accumulate in the fruit. For example, using the fungicide "Kupidon" according to the instructions helps protect apple orchards and vineyards from diseases.
Composition and dosage form
The active ingredient in the fungicide "Kupidon" is copper hydroxide. It accounts for 770 grams per liter of the product. It is produced as a wettable powder and packaged in 10-kilogram paper bags with a polyethylene liner.
Operating principle and purpose
This product has a bactericidal and protective effect. Based on its penetration method, it is classified as a contact pesticide. It is used to protect grapes from mildew and is also used to treat apple trees for the prevention and treatment of moniliosis and apple scab.
Important: not for use in private gardens.
The advantages of the drug include:
- economical use;
- high efficiency of preventive and therapeutic treatments;
- ease of preparation of working solution;
- cost of fungicide.

"Kupidon" has a bactericidal effect; spraying is effective against many fungal diseases of apple trees and protects grapes from mildew. Copper cations bind amino and hydroxyl groups, slowing and blocking the metabolism of fungal tissue. After spraying, it provides a rapid effect, preventing pathogen growth in tissues, which causes the death of the fungus. Preventative treatment prevents the onset and development of infection.
Do not exceed the powder dosage when preparing the working solution. It is used for aerial spraying of orchards and vineyards. Four sprays are required per season. When used according to the manufacturer's instructions, it is safe for humans and insects.

Flow calculation and instructions for use
The working solution is prepared before use and should not be stored for more than 24 hours. To prepare it, pour 1/3 of the calculated amount of water into the tank with the mixer running, then add the required amount of fungicide (wetting powder), and add the remaining water, continuing to stir. The prepared solution is then used to fill the sprayers.
| Processing object | What diseases is it used for? | Consumption of concentrate (wettable powder) | Spraying period, amount of working solution in liters/hectare | Waiting period, number of sprayings per season |
| Vineyards | mildew | 1.5-1.75 | The first treatment is carried out as a preventative measure at the initial stage of vegetation, subsequent treatments are carried out at intervals of 1-1.5 weeks. 800-1000. | 30(4) |
| Apple orchards | Moniliosis, scab | 1.5-1.75 | For gardens, use during the green cone, pink bud, and flowering stages. Apply at intervals of 1-1.5 weeks. 800-1000. | 20 (4) |

Safety precautions
The fungicide is classified as hazard class 2 (high toxicity) for humans and hazard class 3 (moderate toxicity) for bees. It is not used in protected water bodies.
The working solution is prepared in specially equipped areas, located away from residential buildings and areas used for livestock and poultry. Workers preparing the mixture and spraying crops are provided with respirators, protective suits, gloves, and rubber boots.

Smoking and eating are prohibited during work. If the powder is accidentally inhaled, the victim must be moved to a safe place and a doctor must be called or the worker must be transported to a hospital. The doctor must be informed of the name and composition of the fungicide.
After finishing work, you should thoroughly rinse all parts of the sprayers to remove any remaining product and dry them, take a shower, and change into clean clothes.
How and how long can it be stored?
Products classified as hazardous are stored in cool, dry areas with adequate ventilation. Unauthorized persons and pets are not allowed into the warehouse. Products must be kept sealed in their original packaging, which must clearly display the product's name and intended use. The shelf life of Cupidon fungicide is two years from the date of manufacture.
