Fungal infections of fruit and berry crops disrupt the natural growth cycles of plants, leading to significant yield losses. According to the instructions for use and the experience of farmers and gardeners, the effective and safe fungicide "Switch" is successfully used as a preventative and therapeutic agent, providing a comprehensive solution to the problem of plant mycoses.
What is included in the composition and existing forms of release
The unique composition of "Switch" includes two active components - cyprodinil and fludioxonil in quantities of 375 grams and 250 grams, respectively, per 1 kilogram of total weight. The drug is available as water-soluble granules packaged in soft foil packets of 2 grams and 10 grams. Larger 1-kilogram packages are packaged in plastic containers or sealed bags and boxes.
Mode of action of the drug
The two-stage mechanism of action of the Switch fungicide is determined by the effects of its active ingredients, which ensure the destruction of pathogens and protection against primary and secondary contamination. Cyprodinil is an anilidopyrimidine compound with systemic antifungal activity. It penetrates the plant's vascular system through leaf blades and stems and rapidly spreads throughout the vascular system. By inhibiting methionine synthesis in fungal structures, it halts their growth and development at the contamination stage.
Fludioxonil is a contact fungicide with a broad spectrum of antifungal activity. It prevents fungal spore germination and mycelial growth by disrupting transmembrane glucose transport and energy metabolism in pathogen tissues. As a result, cross-resistance does not develop in fungi.
Thanks to the systemic and contact antifungal action of its components, Switch is effective at all stages of fungal development. The fungicide reliably protects crops from infection and has a therapeutic effect on plants affected by mycosis.

Advantages of the drug
"Switch" is effective against various types of agricultural fungal infections without phytotoxic properties. Forming a stable film on the surface, the fungicide begins to act within the first hours after application and protects crops for up to 20 days.
The Switch has a number of undeniable advantages:
- Versatility. Suitable for therapeutic and preventative antifungal treatment of a wide range of fruit and berry crops and ornamental plants.
- Safety. Does not harm crops, pollinators, or, when used according to instructions, human health.
- Duration of protective action. The fungicidal effect is visible 36 hours after spraying and lasts up to 3 weeks.
- Resistance to atmospheric precipitation.
- Temperature tolerance. The fungicide is active at ambient temperatures starting from +3°C.
- Lack of resistance of pathogenic fungi to the components of the product.

"Switch" promotes the restoration of damaged plant tissues and improves the preservation and transportability of the harvest.
Purpose
The fungicide provides protection for crops from powdery mildew, aspergillosis, rot, scab, grey and white spot, and moniliosis.
Recommended for processing:
- grapes;
- strawberries;
- tomatoes;
- cucumbers;
- fruit trees.
Successfully used in floriculture, "Switch" is suitable for pre-planting seed soaking. The film formed on the seed surface protects crops from soil fungi. When the fungicide is applied to the soil, any existing fungi are killed, but there is no cumulative effect.

Calculation of consumption for different crops
To treat and prevent mycoses, plants are sprayed with a solution prepared in accordance with the instructions for use of the drug.
Dosages and application rates of fungicide for fruit and berry crops:
| Name of the crop | Application areas | Amount of substance per 10 liters of water, grams | Consumption rate of working fluid | Validity period, days |
| Grape | Rotten | 20 | 5 liters/100 square meters | 18-21 |
| Garden strawberry | Powdery mildew, gray mold, spotting | 20 | 3-5 liters/100 square meters | 10 |
| Tomato | Rot, alternaria, fusarium | 20 | 5 liters/100 square meters | 10 |
| Cucumbers | ||||
| Apple tree, pear tree | Rotten | 10 | 2-5 liters/ 1 copy | 15 |
| Peach, apricot, plum, cherry | Rot, moniliosis | 10 | 20 |
Instructions for use
The required amount of Switch granules should be dissolved in the appropriate volume of water, stirring until smooth. The working solution is sprayed on the above-ground parts of plants. Tomatoes and cucumbers are sprayed during the growing season. For grapes, a double treatment is recommended: the first stage is carried out during the final flowering stage, and the second – before the formation of the grape vines. For strawberries, the antifungal treatment is carried out before flowering. The procedure is repeated after 10 days.

Rules of application
Plants are sprayed with a freshly prepared solution in calm weather, in the morning or evening. The prepared solution cannot be stored and should be used on the day the granules are mixed.
Spraying is done in a targeted manner, sparing nearby crops, once or twice per season. The first application is done before the onset of mass flowering. A repeat fungicide treatment can be administered 10-14 days later.
Precautionary measures
When handling the product, personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to prevent direct human contact with the product. For safe use, the following is recommended:
- use of special clothing and standard protective equipment (gloves, glasses, respirator);
- preventing the composition from coming into contact with mucous membranes, the respiratory and digestive tracts;
- compliance with personal hygiene rules after the procedure.

It is prohibited to use the Switch in areas located less than 2 kilometers from the coastline.
Degree of toxicity
The substances in the fungicide belong to the 3rd class of toxicity of chemical compounds and do not pose a significant risk to human and animal health, and do not have phytotoxic properties.
When spraying crops, Switch does not accumulate in the soil and does not enter groundwater.
Possible compatibility
"Switch" has no restrictions on its combined use with other pesticides, including copper preparations.
Storage rules and periods
The fungicide should be stored out of the reach of children and animals, away from food and household items at a temperature of no lower than -5 °C and no higher than +35 °C in a hermetically sealed container.
Best before date
4 years if stored under proper conditions.
