All pesticides are toxic chemicals. However, proper use of these products can protect crops from diseases and significantly increase yields. When spraying Meteor herbicide, follow the instructions for use. This product has a broad spectrum of activity and is used for growing various vegetables, grapes, and fruit trees.
What is included in the composition and existing forms of release
The herbicide is available as a wettable powder. When diluted with water, it forms a stable suspension. Factory packaging includes 10 kg bags.
The active ingredient is copper hydroxide, which contains 770 grams per kilogram of powder weight. It actively destroys pathogens affecting fruit crops and is highly effective in protecting grapes. Meteor herbicide is also used as a preventative treatment for crops.
Operating principle, purpose and speed
The product is used to combat downy mildew, various types of spotting, and to protect grapes from mildew and apple trees from scab and moniliosis. The active ingredient inhibits spore germination, halts pathogen cell division, and stops disease progression at an early stage.

Calculating consumption and how to use it
When using the powder, you must follow the manufacturer's recommendations, since the application rate depends on the type of plant crop being treated.
| Plants | Consumption rates (kg/ha) | Features of use |
| Cucumber | 0.6-2.3 | During the growing season, spray against downy mildew and bacterial spotting. |
| Onion | 2.2 | treat greens against alternaria and downy mildew |
| Potato | 0.6-3 | During the growing season, spray the bushes against late blight, macrosporiosis, and alternaria. |
| Fruit trees | 4 | The foliage is sprayed against scab, cancer, leaf curl (peach), and coccomycosis |
| Tomato | 2.6-3 | During the growing season, bushes are treated against late blight and bacterial spotting. |
| Grape | 3 | The foliage is sprayed against anthracnose, mildew, and black spot. |

Precautionary rules
Meteor has no negative impact on the environment. The powder is classified as hazard class 2 for humans and class 3 for bees. Copper-containing substances are considered toxic to humans and warm-blooded animals, so safety precautions must be observed when handling it:
- a respirator is worn to protect the respiratory system;
- protect the skin with film aprons, gloves, and wear rubber boots;
- To protect the eyes, special glasses are worn.
Work should be carried out in calm weather. Do not smoke, drink, or eat while spraying. After work, be sure to wash your hands under running water. The treatment should not exceed one hour.

Is compatibility possible?
Meteor is highly compatible with many pesticides. Do not combine the powder or working solution with acidic compounds or lime sulphur.
Storage conditions
The shelf life of the Meteor pesticide is 2 years from the date of manufacture. Store the powder in a separate, ventilated room. It is advisable to concrete the floor of the room to prevent the powder solution from leaking into groundwater. Do not store food or animal feed in the same room containing pesticides.

What can be used as a replacement?
Manufacturers offer several products containing copper hydroxide for use in agriculture.
The pesticide "Mercury" is available as a wettable powder. Its advantages include high adhesion, uniform distribution over the treated surface, early disease inhibition, bactericidal action, and non-toxicity to crops.

Champ DP is available as water-soluble granules. Its primary purpose is to preventively treat crops during periods favorable for the emergence and spread of diseases. Spraying is performed before initial plant damage occurs.
The pesticide "Meteor" is non-toxic to crops and protects them from surface infections. Its copper content and chlorine-free formulation make it an ideal component for tank mixes. The effectiveness of the working solution is enhanced when Meteor is sprayed at lower temperatures.
