A key feature of tomatoes is their resistance to diseases such as tobacco mosaic, cladosporiosis, and fusarium. Sometimes, tomatoes can be affected by late blight. To prevent this, spray the plants with disinfectants.
Tomato leaves are bright green. The plants have a well-developed root system. The fruits ripen on clusters, with 5-6 tomatoes per cluster. The fruits are large, with one tomato weighing 250-300 g. Ripe fruits are bright red. Shakira tomatoes are used fresh, in salads, side dishes, tomato paste and puree, juices, and hot dishes. Fruits of this variety can be salted and pickled.

How are tomatoes grown?
Seeds are planted in early March. First, prepare the planting containers. Fill them with special soil for pepper and tomato seedlings. The soil is poured into the containers to a depth of 10-12 cm. Furrows are then dug for sowing. The seeds do not need to be soaked or treated with potassium permanganate. They are carefully placed into the soil in the prepared furrows, spaced every 2 cm. After sowing, cover the soil with a thickness of 1-1.5 cm.

Then, water the soil with warm water, cover with plastic wrap, and place the container with the seedlings in a warm room. Sprouts will form in 5-7 days and begin to emerge from the soil.
Once the seedlings emerge, remove the cellophane and place the container in a bright spot, such as a windowsill. When the seedlings develop two leaves, they are pricked out and transplanted into peat pots. If there is not enough sunlight, then you need to turn on fluorescent lamps.

In early May, when the weather warms up, transplant the seedlings into a greenhouse. After transplanting into the ground, water them and loosen the soil. If the seedlings are large, you can immediately install trellises and secure them.
When growing tomatoes, they need to be hilled to ensure a good root system develops. This is done the first time on the 10th day, and the second time on the 20th day.
To increase yield, train the bushes into two stems. Side shoots should be removed regularly. When growing tomatoes, they need to be watered periodically, weeded, and the soil loosened. Watering is increased when the first and second ovaries begin to bloom. Fertilize the tomatoes twice a month with a complex fertilizer.

Gardeners' reviews of the Shakira variety are mostly positive. People note its excellent yield, wonderful taste, and disease resistance. The plant is easy to grow and requires little maintenance. These tomatoes produce beautiful, large fruits.

One of my favorite varieties, I've never had any problems with it, the tomatoes grow large and juicy. I only fertilize the seedlings BioGrow, the product is safe and effective, I recommend it.
