The Slavyanka tomato is a pink tomato variety with a determinate growth rate. It is included in the Russian State Register of Tomatoes for garden plots, homesteads, and small farms for cultivation under plastic covers. This tomato variety is suitable for both salads and whole-fruit canning.
Features of the variety
Slavyanka tomatoes have a mid-early ripening period. This variety was developed in Russia for greenhouse cultivation. Full ripening occurs 110-120 days after germination. The plant grows quite rapidly. A mature bush averages 1.6 to 1.8 meters in height.

The leaves are medium to large, light green. The first simple inflorescence is located above the ninth leaf, with subsequent inflorescences occurring every three leaves. The mature fruit is ovoid.
Its surface is smooth. An unripe fruit is green with dark spots near the stalk. A ripe tomato is a rich pink. On average, there are 2-3 nests on a bush.
The fruits have excellent flavor. Each tomato weighs between 150 and 180 g. The variety has a high yield, averaging 6–6.6 kg/m². Harvesting begins around June and ends in September.
For the most part, the fruits of this plant are valued for their beautiful appearance, excellent taste, and suitability for whole-fruit canning.

Among the many positive qualities of Slavyanka tomatoes, it's worth noting those that have made them a favorite among summer residents and small farmers:
- high yield;
- medium fruit size;
- long fruiting;
- long-term storage of harvested crops;
- low susceptibility to diseases and parasites.
Planting recommendations
The Slavyanka variety was bred specifically for planting in Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and the middle latitudes of Russia.

Before growing, it is worth familiarizing yourself with the rules of agricultural technology:
- The seedlings are planted in a greenhouse and tied to a crossbar.
- During the growing season, the bush should be fertilized with organic fertilizers at least three times. To improve the taste of Slavyanka tomatoes, add mineral fertilizers to the soil.
- To ensure proper growth, the plant requires frequent watering and periodic loosening of the soil. In hot and dry weather, watering should be done daily; in cool weather, water every 3-5 days.
- While the Slavyanka variety is growing and ripening, it's important to tie the bush around the foliage and tie it to a crossbar. This prevents the branches from breaking under the weight of the ripening tomatoes.
- To promptly identify diseased areas, inspect the leaves and stems daily for signs of disease. If an infection is detected, the affected leaves should be removed, and the plant itself should be treated with chemicals to prevent the spread of the disease. To prevent the development of certain diseases, ventilate the greenhouse during dry and sunny weather. In cold weather, it is recommended to prevent water from coming into contact with the leaves. Water the plant at the roots.
If you follow these recommendations, the Slavyansky tomato will bear fruit for as long as possible, yields will be high, and the fruits will grow large and tasty.

The quality of the tomatoes grown typically determines the reviews a variety receives. An analysis of a large number of online reviews showed that the overwhelming majority of gardeners and homesteaders have a positive attitude toward this tomato variety. Negative reviews were few. This suggests the good quality of the seeds and the tomatoes grown.
