Peculiarities of growing tomatoes

After sowing the seeds, wait approximately 2 months, after which the strengthened seedlings are transplanted into a greenhouse. It is very important to shape and remove side shoots from the plant. This improves the quality and quantity of tomatoes. Ultimately, the main goal is high yield and large quantities of tomatoes.

Tomato sprouts

Bushes of this tomato variety are usually trained with two stems. When training, the removed leaves are not discarded but stored under the bush. As they begin to decompose, the plant receives the necessary amount of carbon dioxide.

Reviews from gardeners

I'd be interested to hear from people who've tried growing this tomato variety. Do the photos and descriptions of the tomatoes listed on the packaging actually match the actual results?

Tomato pulp

Valentina, 43 years old:

"I purchased a package of chocolate-covered Marshmallow tomato seeds from the Poisk agrofirm, called Vkusnoteka. The package contained 10 seeds (one seed produces one plant). Not all of the seeds sprouted—three of them rotted. The plant was transplanted into the greenhouse in the first half of May, after which it began growing vigorously. It should be noted that the leaves and side shoots grow very actively, so it's important to pin out the side shoots promptly and remove any excess.

Disappointment set in after the ovaries had set. Each plant produced no more than 10-12 tomatoes, of which only 3-4 were large (meeting the grower's weight specifications), while the rest were smaller.

As for the green streaks coming from the stem, they were impossible to remove, so all the green parts had to be cut off and thrown away, and the tomatoes were used for ketchup. The flesh was indeed juicy, but the taste, it turned out, had a hint of rot.

Big tomato

Tatyana Nikolaevna, 56 years old:

"The seeds were sown at the end of March. Experienced gardeners have shown that it's rare for all the seeds to germinate. After two leaves appeared, the plant was repotted in a small plastic cup. Choosing the right time to transplant the seedlings into the ground is crucial. The best time is late May or after the last frost.

Bushes need proper care, as this affects the plant's yield. It's important to loosen the soil periodically, fertilize the plant's roots promptly, and avoid overwatering.
