Metamyl MC dosage for agriculture: potatoes, onions, and garlic – 2-2.5 kg per hectare; currants – 5 kg per hectare. Potatoes are sprayed three times: once as a preventative measure, then again when signs of infestation appear, and again after 1-2 weeks. The solution consumption rate is 200-400 liters per hectare. Onions and garlic are treated according to the same schedule, but at intervals of 1.5-2 weeks. Currants are sprayed once during budding. The waiting period for potatoes and garlic is 20 days, for onions – 28 days, for currants – 72 days.
Metamyl MC dosage for private farms: potatoes – 85 g per 10 liters, onions and garlic – 65-85 g, currants – 100 g. Apply the solution three times, spaced 1.5-2 weeks apart, at a rate of 3 liters per 100 square meters. Currants are sprayed once, using 1-1.5 liters per bush. The withholding period for all crops is 20 days.
Terms of Use
The Metamyl MC working solution must be prepared before use. Pour 1/3 of the solution into a container with water and add the calculated amount of the product. Stir until the solution is dissolved and add the remaining amount of water. Standard boom sprayers can be used for spraying.
Safety precautions
The fungicide "Metamyl MC" is classified as a hazard class 2 agricultural product for humans and 3 for bees. It should not be used near water bodies; it is toxic to fish. To prevent bee poisoning, apply the fungicide at wind speeds of up to 4-5 m/sec, within a radius of 2-3 km from apiaries.
When handling the fungicide, wear protective clothing, a respirator, goggles, and rubber gloves. Avoid touching your face, drinking, or smoking while handling. After handling, wash your hands and face. If the solution comes into contact with your skin, eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse the affected area with cold water for 10 minutes.
If symptoms of poisoning occur, perform a gargle: drink activated charcoal, follow with 1 liter of water, and induce vomiting after 15 minutes. In case of severe poisoning, consult a doctor.
How much and how can it be stored?
Metamil MC has a shelf life of 3 years when transported and stored properly. It should be stored in its original manufacturer's packaging at a warehouse temperature between -10°C and +35°C. The warehouse should be dry, ventilated, and have moderate lighting. Fertilizers and other agricultural products may be stored near the pesticide, but food, medications, and household products should not be stored near it.
Do not use the fungicide after the expiration date. Use the diluted solution on the day of preparation; it loses its fungicidal properties within 24 hours. To conserve product, prepare only the amount needed for daily use.
