To protect crops from diseases, farmers use fungicides. They often prefer two-component solutions, which not only treat plants but also promote their growth and development. The instructions for the fungicide "Titul Duo" recommend using it to protect cereals, sunflowers, and rapeseed from fungal diseases.
Composition, existing forms of release and purpose
The systemic fungicide "Titul Duo" consists of two active ingredients: tebuconazole and propiconazole. Each liter contains 200 ml of each. The chemical is formulated as a colloidal solution concentrate. This systemic fungicide is sold in 5- and 10-liter plastic canisters. Produced domestically, it is affordable for both farmers and small-scale gardeners.
"Title Duo" is intended for the treatment and prevention of diseases of sugar beets, peas, rapeseed, sunflower and grain crops:
- septoria;
- powdery mildew;
- peronophorosis;
- brown and dwarf rust;
- dark brown spot;
- rhynchosporiosis;
- fusarium head blight.
Mechanism of action
The active ingredients of this systemic fungicide penetrate crops through stems and leaves. They target the vegetative organs of pathogenic microorganisms and prevent the formation of new spores.
Furthermore, the active ingredients inhibit the formation of ergosterol. After treatment with the fungicide, cell membrane permeability is impaired.
Advantages and disadvantages
Those who have already used the systemic fungicide "Title Duo" for their fields note several advantages of this product.

Among the disadvantages, farmers point out the limited number of chemicals that can be used with Title Duo in tank mixes.
How to prepare a working mixture
The key to the effectiveness of a systemic fungicide is the proper preparation of the spray solution. It's also important to remember to only apply a freshly prepared solution; otherwise, it will be ineffective against pathogens.
Fill the sprayer tank with half the volume of clean, room-temperature water. Add the recommended amount of product and mix thoroughly. Add the remaining water and mix again. After this, you can spray the plants. Use 250 to 320 ml of the chemical per hectare of field.
Instructions for use
Spraying of crops should begin early in the morning or evening, when it's not too hot. A dry day with minimal wind is preferable. A week after spraying, you can return to the field for other work.

Any remaining working solution should be disposed of according to safety instructions. Never pour any remaining fungicide into water bodies.
Precautionary measures
When working with chemicals, observe basic safety precautions. Protect all skin areas with protective coveralls, and protect the respiratory tract with a respirator. After finishing work, take a shower, wash your clothes, and hang them outside to air.
Phytotoxicity
No cases of phytotoxicity have been reported when the product's application rates and instructions for use are followed. To avoid harm, avoid applying the chemical when plants are very weak.

Possible compatibility
Before deciding to use a fungicide with other chemical pesticides, it is worth testing the compatibility of the preparations and their physicochemical properties.
Storage rules and shelf life
If stored properly and the packaging is intact, the fungicide is usable for two years from the date of production. The storage area should be maintained at a temperature of no less than 10 degrees below zero and no higher than 35 degrees Celsius.
Similar means
If the systemic fungicide "Titul Duo" is not available in the store, it is replaced with a similar product - "Amistar Trio" or "Orius".
