"Zelek Super" is a herbicide that controls weeds such as couch grass and annual grasses. It is most effective during the germination and emergence stages of weeds. When used correctly, it achieves 100% weed control. This product is designed for producers whose primary goal is to protect their crops and increase their yields.
Composition and existing forms of release
Zellek Super controls all types of grass weeds. Its main active ingredient is galaxifol-methyl. Each 100 ml of solution contains at least 10.4% of the active ingredient. The herbicide is sold as a highly concentrated emulsion. Volume: 5 liters.
How does the drug work?
Within 50-60 minutes of application, galaxifol-methyl is absorbed by the leaves and spreads through the stems, roots, and rhizomes via the sap flow. As a result of the herbicide's penetration, photosynthesis is disrupted, further growth of all parts of the weeds is abruptly halted, and chlorosis begins to develop. The weeds wither and wilt, turning a burgundy color.
How is it different from its analogues?
The product's advantage is its fast and effective control of weeds such as couch grass, wild oats, foxtail, celandine, pigweed, and common bluegrass. Its rapid penetration into the plant ensures resistance to watering and precipitation. Zelek Super's effectiveness lasts 5-6 years.

Area of effect and how quickly it works
Maximum effectiveness is achieved 42-46 hours after treatment. Annual weeds are killed within 8-12 days, and perennial weeds within two weeks.
The herbicide's effect continues throughout the entire period of active grass growth, in the absence of re-sprouting weeds.
Indicators of consumption of funds
The average consumption rate is 0.7-1 liter per hectare of land. "Zelek Super" is dissolved in 200-300 liters of water. The amount depends on the type of weed: for annual grasses, no more than 500 ml is used, and for perennial grasses, 1 liter.
How to prepare a working solution
The solution is prepared immediately on the day of soil treatment. The product is diluted in a purchased container. Fill the sprayer tank one-third full with water, add the concentrate, and mix thoroughly for several minutes with the built-in stirrers. Then add the remaining water and mix again. 200-300 liters of the prepared herbicide are required per hectare of soil. Any remaining solution must be stored safely.

Features of application
All application details are provided in the instructions. It is not recommended to use the product after cultivation or on damp soil (after dew or immediately after precipitation). The optimal temperature for application is above 12°C, and the best time of day is morning or evening. Wind speeds should not exceed 5 m/s when using "Zelek Super."
Safety precautions at work
The use of this herbicide on private property is prohibited. Spraying from aircraft is prohibited. Only trained personnel are allowed to handle the product. Work must be carried out wearing personal protective equipment (PPE): a disposable suit, latex gloves, safety glasses, and a disposable respirator with a filter.

Degree of toxicity
The product is not harmful to various plant crops, birds, or microorganisms living and reproducing in the soil. Hazard class for humans is 2. Hazard class for honeybees is 3. Fish are sensitive to this product, so disposing of untreated suspension residues into water bodies is prohibited.
Possible compatibility with other drugs
"Zelek Super" can be used in combination with other herbicides with similar effects. The substance does not lose its properties when used together with insecticides. It is recommended to conduct a test for compatibility by mixing a small amount of the substances in a container.
Storage conditions and periods
The herbicide should be stored in a dry, ventilated area. The temperature should be between -10 and +40°C. The shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Analogues
There are a number of drugs that have a similar mechanism of action:
- "Gerbitox-L" is based on elements such as dimethylamine salt, sodium salt, and calcium salt. These elements penetrate the plant and are distributed through the sap flow to all its parts. This disrupts photosynthesis and stops enzyme production;
- "Gallera Super" - affects the hormones of weeds, disrupts the growth process, which leads to death;
- "Axial" blocks the synthesis of amino acids and destroys weeds in corn crops.
