To grow bountiful grain crops, it's important to provide comfortable growing conditions for the plants, including fertilizing and protecting them from pests and diseases. Heavy weed infestation prevents crops from developing properly, so farmers cannot avoid using chemicals. The instructions for the Dialen Super herbicide specify application rates, spraying instructions, and the preferred timing of application.
Composition, release forms and purpose
The active ingredients in a herbicide determine its performance, weed control, and effectiveness. Dialen Super contains two active ingredients: dicamba at a concentration of 120 grams per liter of the chemical and 2,4-D dimethylamine salt at a concentration of 344 grams per liter.
"Dialen Super" is sold as a water-soluble concentrate packaged in 10-liter plastic canisters. The manufacturer developed this herbicide to combat annual and some perennial broadleaf weeds that choke spring and winter grain crops.
Mechanism of action
After application, the active ingredients of the post-emergence herbicide "Dialen Super" penetrate the weed tissue through the root system, as well as the foliage and stems. They act by disrupting photosynthesis and cell division in the weeds. After some time, stem and leaf deformations are observed, leading to the subsequent death of all the above-ground parts of the weeds.

How quickly does it work?
Once the herbicide's active ingredients reach the weed tissue, they immediately begin their destructive action. However, the first signs of weed death are not observed until at least a week after treatment. In some cases, when combating particularly resistant weeds, signs of damage are not observed until two weeks after spraying.
How long does the effect last?
When used correctly, Dialen Super maintains its protective effect for a month. Furthermore, if the herbicide application rate is met, weeds such as sow thistle and bindweed will remain in the field the following year, as the chemical targets the weeds' root systems.
Benefits of using
Based on the practical application of the selective herbicide "Dialen Super", several advantages of the chemical can be identified that distinguish it from other protective agents.

The advantages of using it include:
- a wide range of broadleaf weeds against which the herbicide is effective;
- no impact on subsequent crop rotation;
- rapid negative impact on weeds and a long-lasting protective effect, which allows for one treatment per season;
- absence of phytotoxicity when the manufacturer's recommended application rates are observed;
- ease of use due to convenient dosage form;
- can be used in tank mixtures with other chemicals after a compatibility test;
- low consumption of the preparation, resulting in insignificant costs for spraying large fields;
- no resistance if instructions are followed.
Calculation of consumption
The instructions for use specify the application rates for the herbicide; to achieve results, follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

The chemical rates for different plants are shown in the table:
| Cultivated plant | Consumption of herbicide | Volume of working solution per hectare of field |
| Spring crops (millet, rye, oats and wheat) | From 500 to 700 ml of chemical agent (depending on the degree of soil contamination) | From 200 to 300 liters |
| Winter cereals | From 600 to 800 ml of the drug | From 200 to 300 liters |
| Corn | From 1 to 1.5 liters of herbicide | From 300 to 450 liters |
How to prepare a working mixture
To ensure the solution remains effective, prepare the field treatment solution before use. Fill the sprayer tank with clean water and add the manufacturer's recommended amount of herbicide. Turn on the mixer until the mixture reaches a uniform consistency. Then, top up the solution to full capacity and mix thoroughly again.

Instructions for use
The best time to kill weeds is when they have 2 to 5 true leaves. Choose a day with minimal wind speed to prevent the chemical from spreading to neighboring crops. Treatment is carried out either early in the morning or after sunset.
Safety precautions
When working with any chemical, farmers must adhere to safety regulations to avoid harming their health. They must wear clothing that covers the entire body, gloves, and a cap or scarf. To prevent the spray solution vapors from irritating the respiratory tract, a respirator or mask is worn. After completing all work, any remaining solution must be disposed of safely. The sprayer should shower with detergent and rinse their mouth with clean water.

How toxic is it?
"Dialen Super" belongs to the 3rd toxicity class, that is, to moderately hazardous chemicals for humans and warm-blooded animals.
Possible compatibility
The manufacturer allows the use of the herbicide in tank mixtures with other protective agents, but a chemical compatibility test is conducted first.
How and how long can it be stored?
The product's instructions state that its shelf life, when stored under recommended conditions and in its original packaging, is 5 years. Store the chemical in a utility room at a temperature no higher than 35 degrees Celsius. It is also important to protect the herbicide from direct sunlight.
Similar means
If it is not possible to buy "Dialen Super", it is replaced with drugs such as "Queen", "Goliath" or "Dicamba Forte".
