Few tomato varieties offer gardeners as many advantages as the Yerofeich Pink F1 tomato. It attracts gardeners not only because it's resilient to all weather conditions but also because of its exceptionally high yield. Furthermore, Yerofeich tomatoes are highly resistant to most diseases that can affect these plants. This is why this hybrid has been a favorite among many gardeners and summer residents across Russia for years.

Characteristics of the hybrid

The first thing worth noting is that this variety is considered mid-season. Typically, it takes about 100 days from planting the seeds to harvesting delicious tomatoes. This is plenty of time for the fruits to ripen even in a cool summer. If grown in the south, you can harvest tomatoes as early as early July.

A unique feature of the Yerofeich hybrid is its ability to adapt to cool summers, so yields don't decline even with insufficient sunlight. However, in this case, it's best to plant them in a greenhouse or hotbed. The Yerofeich variety is also ideal for southern latitudes. It can even survive extreme heat, but only with proper watering.

 

Description of the plant:

• The hybrid is considered determinate.
• In open ground the plant will be small, up to 1 m.
• In greenhouse conditions, tomato plants can sometimes grow up to 1.5 meters. In this case, tomato plants must be tied up. Otherwise, they will break or fall to the ground, which can lead to crop loss.

To obtain a large quantity of tasty fruits, it is recommended to form bushes. It is better to remove all side shoots immediately so that only one main stem remains on the plant. This is where the tomato clusters will form. The Yerofeich variety most often produces clusters of seven tomatoes. The main stem should be quite strong.

It has few leaves, so it doesn't appear overly wide. These bushes are convenient because they can be planted up to 6 per square meter, yielding approximately 20 kg of delicious fruit. This is typical for growing tomatoes outdoors. When grown in a greenhouse, this variety can yield up to 25 kg per square meter of fertilized soil.

To ensure a good yield, it's recommended to use various fertilizers. You should also loosen the soil periodically to oxygenate the roots. Spraying against diseases is not necessary. The fruits ripen quickly, so most diseases simply don't have time to affect the tomatoes.

Description of fruits

One of the advantages of the Yerofeich hybrid is its consistent fruit production. This is convenient when planning to preserve the tomatoes for the winter. They are small enough and have a thick skin, so they won't burst in boiling water. Furthermore, Yerofeich tomatoes are excellent for long-distance transportation.

The hybrid's description indicates that it is very fruitful. A single stem produces numerous clusters, each bearing approximately 6-7 tomatoes. The tomatoes are greenish when ripe, and bright red when ripe. They have no green or white spots near the stalk.

Tomatoes are round and slightly flattened. They grow to a small size. The average weight of a single tomato is 150 g. However, the lower clusters can produce fruits up to 200 g. With proper cultivation, you can get a very good harvest, as the plant's trunk will be covered with red tomatoes.
