Brief information about the plant and its fruits
The characteristics and description of this tomato variety are as follows:
- The plant has a medium ripening period. From sowing the seeds to receiving a full harvest, it takes 110 to 115 days.
- This tomato plant can grow up to 150-200 cm tall. To prevent the tomato branches from breaking off when the fruit appears, it is recommended to tie the stems to sturdy supports.
- The leaves on the bushes are large and green.
- The first inflorescence develops above the 7th or 8th leaf, and all similar subsequent formations appear every 3 leaves.
- The variety is distinguished by its high productivity, as each plant produces 4 to 5 clusters containing 3 or 4 large tomatoes.
- The shape of the fruit resembles a slightly flattened ball with weak ribs.
- Fruit weight ranges from 0.25 to 0.3 kg. Unripe specimens are green, with a dark green spot visible near their stalks. Ripe fruits are pink. The inside of the tomato is fleshy, containing more than four seed nests.

Reviews from farmers and gardeners growing this tomato variety indicate that when grown in an unheated plastic greenhouse, they can yield 9 to 12 kg of fruit per square meter of garden space. In open ground, the maximum yield reaches 8-9 kg per square meter.
The Dessert Pink variety can be grown outdoors in the southern regions and throughout the vast expanses of central Russia. Heated greenhouses are recommended in Siberia and the Far North, although many farmers in these regions achieve good yields using only plastic covers.

How to grow tomatoes yourself?
To grow this tomato variety, you need to purchase high-quality seeds from specialized stores. It's recommended to protect the seeds from fungal infections by increasing their resistance to environmental influences. To do this, treat all seeds with a potassium permanganate solution for 20 minutes.

After this, they need to be planted in a box with soil. The soil is first fertilized with organic matter, such as peat. The first shoots will appear in 10-12 days. When they have 2-3 leaves, the plants are pricked out. Two weeks before transferring the seedlings to their permanent soil, they are hardened off using a well-known method.
The seedlings are planted in holes approximately 8 cm in diameter, after adding fertilizer. Each hole will require 1 tablespoon of a mixture of potassium sulfate and superphosphate.
Unlike other tomato varieties, the Dessert Pink tomato only needs to be watered during severe drought.
Form bushes from 2-3 stems. It is recommended to leave no more than 3-4 clusters on each plant. It is recommended to plant no more than 3-4 plants per 1 m² of garden bed.
As fruit begins to form, gardeners should add magnesium sulfate to the soil beneath each bush. This substance will strengthen the plants' root system. As the bushes ripen, it is recommended to remove old leaves and earth up the plants promptly.

To protect against various diseases, spray tomato leaves with special medicinal products that kill fungi and viruses. If garden pests such as aphids, nematodes, Colorado potato beetles, or caterpillars appear, spray the plant leaves with special chemicals.
