The "Russian Soul" tomato was bred by Siberian agrobiologists. Its unique characteristics allow it to be grown in any region of the country. The fruits vary in shape, color, and flavor.
Advantages of the variety
The Russian Soul tomato is included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements. This tomato has a medium ripening time, beginning to bear fruit 100-105 days after germination.

The variety's characteristics and description indicate that it can be grown outdoors in southern regions and in greenhouses. This tomato is easy to grow and is suitable for a variety of soil types.
During the growing season, the bush reaches a height of 140-180 cm. The plant requires tying to a support and removing excess shoots. To increase yield, it is recommended to train the bush into 1-2 stems.
Vegetable growers' reviews indicate a variety of fruits, which can be flat, round, or heart-shaped. When ripe, the tomatoes acquire an intense pink and red color. The variety has a medium yield (up to 6 kg per plant), with fruit weights ranging from 250 to 300 g. First-fruit tomatoes can weigh up to 900 g.

The tomatoes are juicy, with meaty flesh and a balanced sweet and sour flavor. Dry matter content is 6-8%.
Tomatoes have a ribbed surface, and when cut horizontally, 6-8 seed chambers are visible. In cooking, the fruits are used fresh, in sauces, juices, purees, and barrel pickling.
Tomatoes tolerate long-distance transportation well. For this purpose, it is recommended to harvest the fruit at the technical maturity stage. The variety description indicates the crop's resistance to adverse growing conditions and temperature fluctuations.

Agricultural technology for growing tomatoes
The plant is grown using seedlings. Seeds are sown for seedlings 60-65 days before the expected planting date. To do this, place the seeds 1 cm deep in containers with prepared soil mixture.
Before planting, seeds are treated with an aqueous solution of potassium permanganate and a growth stimulant. These treatments are used to improve fruit set, promote plant health, and accelerate germination.

After watering with warm water using a spray bottle, cover the container with plastic wrap until the sprouts emerge. When the first two true leaves have formed, transplant the plants into individual pots.
During the seedling growth process, it's important to maintain a consistent temperature regime. To ensure proper seedling development, provide adequate lighting and regularly monitor soil and air humidity levels.
The seedlings are transplanted to their permanent location when the first flower stalk has formed. The soil for planting does not require any special preparation. Compost or substrate is added to the prepared holes, watered, and the seedlings are planted.

It is recommended to plant no more than four bushes per square meter. Care involves regular application of mineral and organic fertilizers. To stimulate root development, hill the bushes and loosen the soil periodically.
The variety is resistant to nightshade diseases. This is only possible if proper agricultural practices are not followed. To prevent such problems, you should regularly ventilate the greenhouse and prevent the soil from drying out.

Among biological pests, the plant may be susceptible to melon aphids, which can be controlled with specialized pesticides. In open ground, the cutworm is a dangerous pest, which can thrive in the presence of weeds.
To prevent their growth, mulch the soil with non-woven fiber. Using organic materials (straw, shredded grass, leaves) as mulch provides additional nutrition for plants.

I really like this variety; I've had one plant yield anywhere from 4.5 kg to 7 kg of tomatoes. They're disease-resistant and can withstand slight temperature drops. I only plant this variety outdoors.
