How to grow tomatoes?

After the sprouts emerge, the film is removed, and the air temperature is lowered to 18–20°C. During the growing season, seedlings require ample light, so if natural light is insufficient, additional lamps are turned on over the plants in the evening for 2–3 hours.

Picking is done after 2-3 formed leaves appear. To ensure better root development and easier transplantation into the ground, seedlings should be planted immediately in spacious pots.

At any stage of the growing season, tomatoes need moderate watering. This means the soil shouldn't be overwatered; it should be allowed to dry out a little.

Two weeks before transplanting, gradually acclimate the seedlings to the weather. This is done in stages. The plants are initially brought outside for half an hour during warmer periods, then the time is gradually increased. The room where the plants are located should be ventilated.
