The Rosemary tomato, whose characteristics and description indicate a high yield, is distinguished by its delicious fruit. It is highly disease-resistant and recommended for growing indoors.
Advantages of a hybrid
The Rosemary tomato, bred by Russian agrobiologists, is listed in the State Register of Breeding Achievements. This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses or under temporary shelters.

During the growing season, this indeterminate variety forms a powerful bush, 150 cm high.
The Rosemary tomato variety is characterized by abundant yields and a mid-early ripening period. It takes 115-120 days from seedling emergence to harvest.
The tomatoes are bright pink and flat and round. Large fruits can weigh up to 400 g, with some giants weighing 800-900 g. With proper cultivation practices, 10-12 kg of tomatoes can be harvested per square meter.
During cultivation, the bushes require tying to a trellis or additional support. This involves securing not only the stems but also the tomato clusters.

Vegetable growers' reviews attest to the excellent taste. The tomatoes have juicy and tender flesh. The fruits contain a high concentration of provitamin A.
The hybrid is resistant to fusarium, cladosporiosis, and tobacco mosaic virus. The variety is relatively resistant to late blight, so preventative measures with special preparations are required during cultivation.
In cooking, tomatoes are used to prepare various dishes, tomato paste, and sauces. They are recommended for inclusion in baby and dietary nutrition. The fruits are not suitable for long-term storage and do not travel well during long-distance transportation.
Cultivation techniques
When planting seeds directly into the ground in a permanent location, most growing regions require the use of a reliable plastic cover to protect the sprouts. Therefore, many vegetable growers use the seedling method.
Sowing of seeds is carried out in March, 55-70 days before planting in a permanent location.
Fill the container with prepared soil mixture or substrate, compact it, and water with warm water. Seeds treated with an aqueous solution of potassium permanganate and a growth stimulant are placed at a depth of 1 cm. Cover the container with plastic wrap until the seeds germinate.

When one or two true leaves have formed, transplanting is done. Peat pots can be used for this purpose, as they make it easy to transport the seedlings to their permanent location.
Sandy, fertile soils enriched with organic matter are most suitable for growing this hybrid. In open ground, seedlings are spaced 30-40 cm apart, with a 70 cm spacing between rows.
Care for this plant involves periodically loosening the soil to ensure air access to the roots. The plant requires moderate watering and timely fertilization with a complete fertilizer.
Excess organic matter in the soil causes leaves to curl and yields to decline. Therefore, it's best to apply compost and other fertilizers during soil preparation, plowing, or pre-harvest cultivation.

Bushes can be trained with 2-3 stems. When trained with 2 stems, the fruits are larger, although fewer ripen. The type of training does not affect the yield.
A tomato bed requires constant weeding. To minimize the labor required for weed removal, you can mulch it with non-woven black fiber.
Straw, grass, and leaves can be used as mulch, providing an additional source of organic nutrition for the plant. Tomato plants require timely removal of side shoots and watering.
