The Semenych F1 tomato is an excellent choice for a beginning gardener. This tomato boasts numerous advantages and virtually no drawbacks. Planting pattern and yield

This hybrid is considered determinate. This means the bushes shouldn't grow very large. In the ground, Semenych tomatoes will reach a height of no more than 1.5 m, and in a greenhouse, up to 1.7 m. Given that this is quite tall even for a strong stem, staking is recommended. Furthermore, proper staking will prevent branches from breaking, so even a portion of the harvest won't be lost.

To obtain a large quantity of delicious fruit, it's important to follow a proper planting pattern. The optimal ratio, recommended by experienced gardeners, is 8 plants per 1 m². This allows you to get about 25 kg of tomatoes from 1 m² of well-fertilized soil.

Care for this hybrid is standard. To increase yield, use mineral and natural fertilizers. Experienced gardeners report that this variety grows best in beds where cucumbers, zucchini, greens, cauliflower, or carrots were grown the previous season. These are the best precursors for this early-ripening tomato.

There's no need to spray Semenych bushes for disease prevention. The hybrid itself is considered resistant to most diseases that can affect tomatoes. Moreover, the tomatoes ripen very early, so some diseases simply don't have time to develop.

Bushes need to be properly maintained, including watered, loosened, and fertilized. They also require shaping. Side shoots should be removed immediately to prevent them from interfering with the growth of the main stem.

Characteristics of fruits

The Semenych hybrid produces quite a few clusters, each bearing four fruits. They are not too large, making them suitable for general use. It's worth noting that the tomatoes ripen gradually. Harvesting can begin as early as June.

Many gardeners also appreciate their excellent taste. The fruits are round and red. Their skin is quite thick, so they retain their marketable appearance for a long time and can be transported over long distances. Moreover, this quality allows the tomatoes to retain their shape even during heat treatment during canning. Each tomato weighs approximately 100 g, so they fit easily into a jar.

The Semenych variety produces very high yields. Therefore, there will definitely be enough tomatoes for both winter preserves and summer salads.
