What is the Moravian Miracle tomato?

1. The plant belongs to an indeterminate variety.
2. According to the State Register, the bushes can grow up to 1.5-1.8 meters in height. However, depending on the region and conditions, the average height is 1 meter.
3. These plants are often confused with potato plants, as their leaves are very similar.
4. The first inflorescence is formed after the 6th-7th leaf, and the subsequent ones after every third.
5. The fruits are smooth, red in color, with not very dense skin.
6. Juicy tomatoes have a real tomato flavor.

Because the bushes grow upward, they need to be tied up, otherwise the branches won't support the weight of the fruit. Although the tomatoes grow small—30-60 g—a single bunch produces up to 30 fruits.

Before planting, it's a good idea to select healthy seeds. If you're new to this, you can soak them in a glass of salt water and wait until the empty seeds float to the surface; they definitely won't germinate.

The substrate in which the seeds will be planted must be warm; it is necessary to maintain the soil temperature at +25°C. To achieve this, it's advisable to keep the container with the planted seeds near a heating device. Water the seeds with warm water.

Once the first shoots emerge, the plant needs a temperature of 18°C ​​and maximum light. To ensure proper seedling development, provide additional lighting with a special lamp. The best place for the sprouts is a windowsill or a bright balcony.

Two weeks before planting, seedlings need to be hardened off. This can be accomplished by taking them outside or opening windows to help them adapt to the new conditions.

After planting in open ground, you need to follow some rules:

• tie the stems to the support;
• periodically hill up, weed and loosen the soil;
• water moderately: once a week will be enough;
• after 10-14 days, feed the bushes with the necessary fertilizers;
• remove excess leaves in time.
