Positive and negative aspects of the variety
The Orange Strawberry tomato has earned a positive reputation among most gardeners, as it has certain advantages over other varieties.

However, this tomato variety is very dependent on fertilizer. To avoid a decrease in yield when growing on poor soils, it is advisable to apply fertilizers.

Preparing the soil for planting
To grow tomatoes from seeds and reap a bountiful harvest, you need to properly prepare the soil. Experienced gardeners recommend planting seeds in homemade soil, consisting of loamy soil with added compost or humus.
To loosen the soil, add wood sawdust. The easiest way to grow German Orange Strawberry seedlings is with peat pellets, which can hold 3-5 seeds. The advantage of these pellets is that there's no need to transplant the seedlings.

This variety, also known as Orange Strawberry, is almost immune to the diseases that plague nightshade plants. But that doesn't mean it doesn't require care.
As a preventative measure, before planting, it is advisable to treat the soil with warm water with the addition of potassium permanganate, and in case of widespread late blight, spray the bushes with preparations containing copper.
The most common pests that threaten the plant's fruits and green leaves are whiteflies, spider mites, and thrips. They can be controlled by sprinkling the bushes with a celandine infusion or using chemicals designed for tomato treatment.
