The Lord tomato is a determinate variety, meaning the bush grows no taller than 50-60 cm. This variety is intended for planting outdoors, but it can also be grown in a greenhouse. Lord tomatoes are easy to grow, so even an inexperienced gardener can handle them.

After the first inflorescence appears, remove excess leaves from the lower part of the main stem, slightly exposing it. It is recommended to tie the plant. This increases air flow and prevents disease. The bushes do not require pinching.

To strengthen the root system, the soil is periodically hilled and weeded. Mulching is also beneficial. Torn leaves from the plant itself or straw can be used as mulch. This prevents rapid evaporation of moisture from the soil and eliminates the need for frequent watering.

To ensure water reaches the roots during watering, gardeners have come up with a simple trick using a plastic bottle. After poking numerous holes in it, they place it in the soil next to the plant. Once the water enters the bottle, it reaches the roots without touching the plant itself.

Use fertilizers sparingly and carefully. Tomatoes will require 3-4 applications during the growing season. Avoid overdoing it with nitrogen, as too much can negatively impact fruit quality and cause poisoning.
