Instructions for use of Colfugo Super, dosage, and fungicide analogues

Plants get sick, just like people. They are exposed to a variety of negative factors, from temperature fluctuations and bad weather to attacks by insects, mites, and other pests. But more often, plants suffer from diseases. Using fungicides like Colfugo Super can prevent disease and plant death, and also help cure diseased plants.

Composition, active substance and release forms

The active ingredient in Colfugo Super is carbendazim, a benzimidazole fungicide. It is available as a suspension concentrate (SC) at a concentration of 200 grams per liter, in 20-liter canisters. The fungicide is non-phytotoxic and has a systemic effect.

Operating principle and purpose

The systemic fungicide "Kolfugo Super" is designed for spraying crops during the growing season, as well as for seed treatment before sowing. It is resistant to precipitation, so it remains on the surface of the plant material for a long time, protecting plants from the negative effects of pathogens.

Colfugo has the ability to be effective at low air temperatures, so it can be used in early spring and late autumn, when most other fungicidal preparations are ineffective.

This product enhances seed germination, has a long-lasting protective effect, and treats a wide range of fungal diseases, including root and basal rot of grains, mold, smut, cercosporella and cercospora leaf spot, powdery mildew, and much more.

Calculation of consumption and rules of use

No more than two sprayings are allowed on green foliage during the growing season. The working fluid consumption rate is 300 liters per hectare, and the product application rate is 1.5-2 liters per hectare. The waiting period is 32 days.

The seeds are treated immediately before sowing; the fungicide application rate is similar to spraying growing crops; the working fluid consumption is up to 10 liters per ton of grain.

The fungicide is classified as hazard class 3 for honeybees, meaning it poses little risk to pollinating insects. Treatment should be carried out during hours when bees are not flying, away from apiaries and individual hives. The product should not be used in the water protection zones of bodies of water. The product can be used for field treatment using agricultural aviation.
