To prevent various diseases from infecting crops, gardeners and summer residents use fungicides. There are also commercially available chemicals designed to disinfect soil, which is where pathogenic microorganisms reside. The instructions for "Healthy Earth" specify dosages and application guidelines for the fungicide, which must be followed to achieve the desired results.
Composition, active ingredient and what it is used for
A fungicide with both contact and systemic action, it is designed to prevent and treat diseases transmitted through soil and seed. The list of diseases effectively treated with "Healthy Earth" includes various rots, verticillium wilt, and blackleg.
The fungicide contains two active ingredients: thiram at a concentration of 198 grams per liter of product and carboxin at the same concentration per liter of chemical. Both active ingredients belong to the chemical class of dithiocarbamates. The fungicide is sold as an aqueous suspension concentrate packaged in 50 ml plastic bottles. The chemical is manufactured by the Russian company "Avgust."
Mechanism of operation
Commercially available soil for growing seedlings and open ground contain pathogens that can destroy not only young seedlings but also damage mature plants. The fungicide "Healthy Soil" disinfects the soil and inhibits the growth of fungal spores that accumulate around the root system of crops. After treatment, plants are reliably protected from harmful microorganisms for up to a month.

The active substance of the preparation has a contact effect on the surface of plants and penetrates all elements of the crop, moving along the vascular network.
Gardeners who have used the product to prevent diseases in their plots have highlighted several advantages of the chemical:
- An ideal option for preventing infections caused by diseases that develop in the soil.
- Efficiency of destruction of pathogenic microorganisms that are localized in the area of the plant root system.
- Long period of protective action after treatment.
- Can be used for both outdoor crops and indoor flowers.
- Low danger for both humans and beneficial insects.
- Convenience of the dosage form and low cost of the drug.

Calculation of consumption and rules of application
The manufacturer of the fungicide product, in the instructions included with each bottle of the chemical, specifies recommended application rates for "Healthy Earth," which must be followed to avoid harming plants and achieve positive results.
To prepare the working solution, use 2 ml of fungicide per liter of settled or filtered water. This concentration is recommended for treating plants at any stage of vegetation, but the consumption of the working solution will vary:

- Growing flower seedlings. The solution is used to prevent blackleg; it is poured onto the soil after sowing. Use 1 liter of the prepared solution per 0.2 square meters.
- Flowers grown in pots outdoors. The fungicide effectively prevents fusarium rot, root rot, and verticillium wilt. The soil in the containers is watered throughout the growing season. The amount of working solution depends on the pot size; 1 liter is enough for up to 10 containers.
- Flowering plants grown in flowerbeds. Water the soil from the first days of plant growth, using 1 liter of working solution per square meter.
As a rule, one treatment per season is sufficient to achieve a positive result; in case of severe soil contamination, the procedure is repeated after a month.

Safety precautions
When working with chemicals, it is necessary to adhere to the safety requirements specified in the instructions for use. Gardeners should wear work clothes that fully protect the body from contact with solution droplets. Rubber gloves should be worn, and respiratory protection should be provided with a mask or respirator.
After treating plants, gardeners should wash all clothing and shower with soap. If the chemical accidentally comes into contact with mucous membranes, administer first aid (rinse with running water) and take the affected person to the nearest medical facility.

When working with chemicals, keep small children and pets away. Also, avoid drinking, eating, and smoking during this time to prevent any particles of the working solution from getting into your mouth.
Is compatibility possible?
The manufacturer's instructions for use state that "Healthy Earth" is not to be used in tank mixtures with other fungicidal and insecticidal preparations, as well as mineral and organic fertilizers.
Storage terms and conditions
When stored properly and in its original packaging, the fungicide retains its effectiveness for three years. Once opened, it is recommended to use the chemical within one year. Store "Healthy Earth" in a separate utility room, out of reach of children and pets. The room should be protected from direct sunlight, and the recommended storage temperature is between 5 and 27 degrees Celsius.
Analogues
If the fungicide "Healthy Land" is not available for sale, it can be replaced with such preparations as "Healthy Lawn" or "Vitaros".
