Single-component herbicides are designed to control annual broadleaf weeds in cereal and legume crops. The highly selective bentazone-based herbicide "Bazagran," according to the instructions, can be used in areas with underseeding. This safe product destroys most types of unwanted vegetation.
Composition and existing forms of release
Belongs to the chemical class of active ingredients: thiadiazines. This single-component pesticide contains the active ingredient bentazone at a concentration of 480 grams per liter. Bazagran is sold as an aqueous solution packaged in 10- and 20-liter plastic containers.
Pros and cons

Before applying the herbicide, consider weather conditions. Work should be carried out in the absence of precipitation, as moisture will wash away the chemical, requiring the procedure to be repeated. This will lead to additional costs.
Mode of action
The active ingredient penetrates the green parts of the weeds, interrupting photosynthesis. After a while, the plant leaves dry out and die. Complete weed death occurs 3-5 days after treatment.
The active substance is dangerous only for dicotyledonous annual weeds and does not cause harm to crops.
Calculation of consumption
The herbicide can be applied at various stages of the crop's growing season, but weeds should not be allowed to mature. The optimal time for application is when the first crop shoots emerge, regardless of the weed's stage of germination. Spray once per season, watering the unwanted vegetation thoroughly.

The average consumption rate of the drug is given in the table:
| Cultivated crop | Consumption rate of the drug, ml/m2 |
| Legumes | 0.15-0.3 |
| Clover, alfalfa | 0.15-0.3 |
| Cereals | 0.1-0.4 |
| Flax | 0.2-0.3 |
The consumption rate of the working fluid is 2.0-4.2 liters per 1 hectare of land.
Preparation of working solution
The working solution is prepared one hour before use. The diluted solution cannot be stored for long periods. Fill the prepared container 1/3 full with water, measure out the required amount of the product, and add it to the tank. Mix thoroughly. Wear protective clothing while working, avoiding inhalation or contact with exposed skin.

Instructions for use
The best time for treatment is dry, clear, windless weather. Work is carried out at temperatures above 20°C (68°F). The chemical penetrates the plant within 4 hours, so precipitation is undesirable during this period. When spraying, ensure the solution completely covers the leaves and shoots of the weeds. After spraying, do not carry out any technical treatment on the crops for 1.5-2 weeks. Repeated spraying is not permitted.
Security measures
The drug is toxic, so restrictions are imposed during processing:
- block bees' access after spraying the area for 72 hours;
- treatment near water bodies is carried out at a distance of at least 1.5 kilometers from the water supply;
- The working time with the working solution should not exceed 4 hours.

During the procedure, protective equipment is used: waterproof clothing with sleeves, waterproof shoes, latex gloves and a respirator.
Degree of toxicity
"Bazagran" is classified as hazard class 3 for humans, pollinated insects, and aquatic organisms. Aerial application is permitted. When handling the chemical, observe safety precautions.
Possible compatibility
Bazagran herbicide is used as a component in complex mixtures. A compatibility test is conducted before use. If no reaction (color change, precipitation, or other signs) occurs after mixing small amounts of the products, the chemicals can be used together. This product combines well with Pulsar 40 and Pivot.

How and for how long can it be stored?
The agrochemical is stored in a designated dry area with an air temperature of -10 to +25 degrees Celsius. The shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture. The prepared working solution cannot be stored.
