Dual Gold is designed to control most weeds in vegetable and sunflower crops. It is a single-component, selective herbicide characterized by a long-lasting action and effective plant protection. After applying Dual Gold to the soil according to the instructions, suppression of the second phase of weed growth is observed.
What is included in the composition and existing forms of release
The herbicide belongs to the chloroacetamide class of chemicals. The active ingredient is s-metolachlor, available at a concentration of 960 grams per liter of solution. In organisms sensitive to the pesticide, it inhibits protein synthesis, thereby halting cell development.
The drug is supplied in the form of a concentrated emulsion, packaged in 5-liter plastic containers.
Advantages of the drug
This chemical offers an advantage over other herbicides, providing long-term protection against weeds. Dual Gold is non-toxic, so there are no restrictions on crop sowing or subsequent application. Its low volatility enhances its effectiveness.

How does the product work?
The active ingredient penetrates the structure of grass tissue, preventing seed development during the germination phase. It inhibits cell division by reducing the activity of enzymes responsible for fatty acid synthesis in cell membranes.
This agrochemical is highly effective when manual weeding is impossible over large areas. It acts selectively, taking effect immediately after application. In cereal plants, the components of the product enter through the cleoptile, which then kills the seedlings. In dicotyledonous species, the components enter through the embryonic leaves, killing the weeds. This way, the product destroys weeds during the growth phase, even before the first shoots emerge.

Calculation of consumption
Average indicators:
| Culture | Method and terms of payment | Norm, l/ha |
| Beet | Treatment before sowing or emergence | 1.2-1.6 |
| Soybeans | ||
| Sunflower | ||
| Corn | ||
| Spring and winter rapeseed | ||
| Potato | Soil treatment after planting, before the first shoots appear | 1.6 |
| Tomato seedlings | Spraying the soil before transplanting seedlings | 1.6 |
| Cabbage seedlings | ||
| Peas | Pre-emergence spraying | 1.6 |
| Hop | Spraying after treating rhizomes, before emergence | 1.6-2.0 |
| Melons | Soil cultivation before sowing or the emergence of the first shoots | 1.6 |
| Sorghum | 1.6-2.0 |
How fast does it work and how long does the effect last?
The herbicide's popularity stems from its long-lasting effect, lasting up to 10 weeks. After treatment, weeds are killed before they sprout. A second stage of weed growth is prevented, as the chemical protects crops throughout the entire growing season. By the end of its action, it completely decomposes. Thanks to this feature, vegetables and melons can be planted without restrictions the following year.

How to prepare a working solution
Fill the tank a quarter full with clean water. Turn on the stirrer and add a certain amount of the concentrated solution, continuing to stir the mixture. Achieve a uniform consistency.
Instructions for use
Apply the freshly prepared solution to fields in the morning or evening, when wind speed is minimal. Avoid spilling the solution on adjacent crops. Spraying should be done at temperatures up to 30 degrees Celsius; the solution will evaporate in hot weather. Dual Gold is mixed with other chemicals to control broadleaf weeds.
After applying the product, do not weed the soil, as this will reduce its effectiveness. For potatoes, spray after planting, before seedlings emerge. The same spraying method is used when transplanting tomato and cabbage seedlings.

Safety rules
When working with agrochemicals, wear a respirator, goggles, and long-sleeved protective clothing. If the solution comes into contact with exposed skin, wash it with plenty of soap and water.
Degree of toxicity
This pesticide is classified as hazard class 3 for humans. Bees should be kept away from the treated area for 24 hours. Treatment should not be carried out near open water, and equipment must be cleaned after use.
Possible compatibility
The agrochemical "Dual Gold" is compatible with most products intended for treating vegetable fields. Since the product has a weak effect on broadleaf weeds, it is combined with other pesticides.

Storage rules and shelf life of herbicides
Store the chemical out of the reach of children and animals, away from sunlight. Storage temperatures range from -5 to +35°C. The shelf life in original packaging is 36 months.
Similar means
Similar herbicides “Anaconda”, “Difilain”, and “Avangard” are produced based on the active component s-metolachlor.
The preparations have a high degree of selectivity and provide long-term protection of crops.
The agrochemical "Dual Gold" effectively controls weeds and guarantees a good, high-quality harvest. Recommended for use on large plots.
