Turkish cucumber varieties have recently become popular among gardeners, one of which is the Lyutoyar F1 cucumber. Developed by Turkish breeders, this hybrid quickly gained popularity in Russia. This popularity stems from the variety's numerous advantages, primarily its versatility and early ripening time. Lyutoyar is ideal for harvesting in a greenhouse or in open garden beds. Both varieties produce consistently high yields.
Characteristics of the variety
The Lyutoyar hybrid boasts a wealth of positive qualities. These cucumbers can be successfully grown both outdoors and under plastic cover. Lyutoyar is often used not only in private gardens but also in farm plots. Many gardeners and farmers love this variety for its early ripening. The plants begin to produce fruit within 1.5 months after the first green leaves appear in the garden. Furthermore, this crop is resistant to powdery mildew, downy mildew, and cucumber mosaic.

Another important feature of this early hybrid is that it has exclusively female flowering. This means that each flower will produce an ovary.
The cucumber bushes themselves don't grow very tall. However, they must be tied up, otherwise the yield may be reduced. This is because the cucumber branches that spread along the ground can begin to rot after watering, just like the fruit itself. Therefore, garter will be a prerequisite for obtaining a good harvest.
A small number of leaves will appear on medium-length branches. They will be green and small. Removing the greenery is not necessary, as it does not block sunlight from reaching the fruit and does not interfere with the development of new ovaries. The Lyutoyar variety's growing season averages 50 days. During this time, a large number of cucumbers will form on the bushes. They emerge from numerous ovaries, of which there can be up to four in a leaf axil.

Caring for this hybrid is very simple. Lyutoyar is considered an easy-to-care-for variety that can withstand a variety of weather conditions. To ensure a good yield, simply water the cucumbers, as they thrive on water, and loosen the soil to oxygenate the roots. This will allow the plant to develop properly and produce a large number of fruits.
Don't forget about weeds either, using one of the main methods of control: weeding. Fertilizing the Lyutoyar hybrid is a good idea, as the plant responds very well to high-quality mineral and organic fertilizers.
Rules for growing the variety
Cucumbers of this hybrid will produce a huge number of fruits. However, to achieve this, proper cultivation techniques are required. Both seedling and non-seedling cultivation methods are suitable for this variety.

If you plan to plant the plant in a greenhouse, it's best to prepare seedlings. To do this, soak the seeds, remove any that float to the surface, and then sow them in fertilized soil. Next, cover the container with plastic wrap and water and ventilate it periodically.
Once the seedlings have developed a few leaves, you can begin hardening them off. To do this, place them outside for a short time, increasing the hardening time by 10 minutes each day. It's best to plant cucumbers in their permanent location once the plants have four leaves.
Experts recommend choosing beds with adequate sun exposure for the Lyutoyar cucumber variety. It's also important to protect the plants from wind, as it's harmful to cucumber bushes. When planting the seedlings, the soil temperature should be at least 15°C. The optimal planting pattern for this hybrid is four plants per square meter. This yields approximately 10 kg of crisp cucumbers per square meter.

Description of fruits
The small bushes of the Lyutoyar variety can produce a considerable number of cucumbers. At full maturity, they will be about 12 cm long, but the harvest can be done earlier, as gherkins. Each cucumber will be 2 to 3 cm in diameter. The average weight of a single cucumber is 100 g.
Lyutoyar cucumbers grow dark green. They resemble cylinders covered in large tubercles. They also develop white spines.
Lyutoyar's skin is thin and the flesh is crisp. There are no cavities inside, and the seeds are very small. It's not recommended to harvest them for future planting, as this method of propagation will cause the hybrid cucumber to lose its beneficial qualities.

The description and characteristics of cucumbers indicate their universal use. They can be used for any occasion: from salads to winter canning. The harvest is good, so there are enough cucumbers for everything.
Gardeners' reviews of this variety are extremely positive.
Kristina, Tambov: "An excellent hybrid that consistently produces an excellent harvest. To get a large quantity of cucumbers, I use various fertilizers and try to choose the right beds. Experience shows that the best predecessors for these cucumbers are legumes, potatoes, cabbage, and onions."
Yulia, Oryol: "The Lyutoyar hybrid is well suited for greenhouse cultivation. It tolerates vagaries of weather quite well. The harvest can be made quite early!"
