How to grow tomatoes of this variety
Overture tomatoes can be planted both in open ground and under film shelters.
You should buy seeds from a trusted supplier to avoid disappointment later due to poor germination.

The seeds are prepared in advance, removing any defective ones. After this, the seeds are placed in cheesecloth and soaked in a potassium permanganate solution for about 20 minutes, which disinfects them. Next, they need to be strengthened with a growth stimulant. To do this, they are immersed in the appropriate solution for 2-3 hours.
Sometimes seedling material needs to be hardened: first, it is placed in warm water for 30 minutes, and then transferred to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, where it is left for 2 days.
The next step is planting the seeds in soil that has been disinfected with boiling water or a potassium permanganate solution. The seeds are placed in the soil to a depth of 1 cm, leaving at least 3-4 cm between them.

To ensure healthy seedlings, they need to be watered moderately and fed with mineral and organic fertilizers in the optimal amounts. If your region experiences short daylight hours, increase the amount of light in the room where the seedlings are growing. They also need warmth, so temperature fluctuations are unacceptable. Picking of young bushes is carried out after the appearance of 2 true leaves.
After 60-65 days, the tomato seedlings are transferred to a permanent growing location.
How to care for a plant in open ground
In open areas, seedlings are planted only when the soil temperature is around 10°C (early or mid-May). Overture tomatoes can be used for compaction, for example, in beds with early cabbage varieties.

Tomato plants are spaced 50-60 cm apart. Three or four plants are planted per square meter.
When growing Overture NK f1 tomatoes outdoors, the following recommendations should be observed:
- during the formation of ovaries, water 1 m² of land with bushes with 3 liters of water;
- Apply the first fertilizer 10 days after planting the seedlings in the ground; subsequent fertilizers should be applied once every 2 weeks;
- remove weeds as they appear and loosen the soil regularly;
- tie up plants as they grow;
- form tomato bushes into one or two stems.
With proper agricultural technology, the yield of the Overture variety in open ground is higher than in closed ground.
How to care for the Overture variety in a greenhouse
The seedlings are transplanted indoors in late April or early May. The soil where the young tomato plants are to be planted should be warmed by adding fresh manure and watering it with boiling water. After this, the soil is spread over the fertilizer to a depth of 20 cm. Taller plants should be planted deeper.

- Overture f1 tomatoes require mandatory tying, so when planting seedlings, stakes are driven in next to them or a trellis is installed above them.
- As the tomato plant grows, its side shoots are pruned. The main principle of tomato care during its growth is maintaining an optimal watering and fertilizing regimen.
- When the fruits begin to redden, they are ready to be picked from the bush. Ripe tomatoes can remain on the bush for about 10 days. They are not susceptible to rotting or cracking.
Experienced gardeners report that tomatoes of this variety ripen a week earlier in greenhouses than in open ground.
Overture tomatoes are often planted by farmers for sale. However, gardeners have also appreciated the many advantages of this tomato variety, making these tomato plants increasingly common in home gardens.
