How to grow the tomato "Favorite of Destiny"?

Seed planting begins in late March, so that the seedlings are ready for transplanting into the ground by early May. Seeds germinate 7-10 days after sowing. They need adequate warmth to allow the plants to establish themselves before transplanting.

To reduce germination time, many gardeners germinate seeds on a moist surface. Any shallow container, such as a plate, lined with several layers of cheesecloth and moistened with water, is suitable. To create a greenhouse effect, the seeds are covered with plastic wrap and placed in a heated area, maintaining a temperature of 25°C. This stage hardens the seeds.

Once the seeds sprout, they are transplanted into cups filled with a special substrate or fertile soil. Instead of watering, it's preferable to mist the seedlings with a spray bottle to prevent the roots from rotting from overwatering.

Two weeks before planting in the garden, the seedlings need to be hardened off. This means taking the pots from the warm room out onto the balcony or leaving them near an open window every day. Acclimate the seedlings to the outdoors gradually, increasing the time each day.

Planting in open ground is done as follows: 5-6 seedlings can be planted per 1 m². The best vegetable precursors are cabbage, cucumbers, zucchini, and parsley.
