The aqueous solution is prepared by dissolving 1 g of potassium permanganate crystals in 1 cup of water.
The seeds are then treated with a solution of complex mineral fertilizer (Nitroammophoska) for 2 hours. Before sowing, the seeds are hardened. To do this, they are placed in a warm place for 24 hours, then kept in a cold place for 24 hours.
The prepared containers are filled with the substrate, moistened, and compacted. The seeds are planted 2 cm apart, 1.5 cm deep. The tray is covered with plastic film to create a vapor effect. This accelerates germination.
Watering seedlings should be done depending on the condition of the topsoil. It's best to use a drip irrigation system using a sprayer. Monitor the temperature during planting.
As soon as the first three leaves appear, transplant the seedlings. After transplanting, fertilize the plants with a complex fertilizer solution. To do this, dissolve 15 g of nitroammophoska in 10 liters of water. Before transferring to the greenhouse, treat them with boric acid.
Cultivation of plants in greenhouse conditions
To plant vegetables, the greenhouse structure is prepared before the season begins. This is done by disinfecting the room with sulfur fumigation, which protects the plants from pathogenic fungi. A bleach solution is used as a disinfectant.
The soil is replaced every 5 years. Anyone who has grown tomatoes knows that to increase yields, it's necessary to create comfortable conditions, warm the soil, and use sawdust and compost.
The crop is planted in April. For this, holes 15 cm deep are prepared in advance. To preserve the root system, the seedlings are watered before planting.
The plant is placed up to the first leaf. The elongated seedlings are planted at an angle, which ensures additional root formation and plant strength. The soil around the stem is compacted, and the bushes are sprayed with a mixture of slaked lime or copper sulfate.
To grow a bountiful harvest, tomatoes of this variety are tied to a trellis or stakes. To ensure rapid ripening, red tomatoes should be picked from the vines in a timely manner.
